Training the next generation of pain physicians.
Three medical students recently rotated through Kansas Pain Management, gaining clinical exposure at our Ambulatory Surgery Center and observing procedures including Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA), Minimally Invasive Lumbar Decompression (MILD), and spinal cord stimulator trials and implants.
Dr. Mayank Gupta serves as the Site Director for Kansas City University, while Dr. Allison Bell, Dr. Mahoua Ray, and Dr. Twinkal Dalal also play an important role in educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
Over the past year, we’ve welcomed medical students from Georgetown University and pre-medical students from UCLA, KU, UMKC, and the University of Washington.
We’re proud to support medical education and help shape the future of pain medicine.
