Heel pain is common, but that does not mean it is normal.

If your first steps in the morning hurt, or the pain keeps coming back after activity, your foot is telling you something. The goal is not to keep pushing through it. The goal is to figure out what is causing it.

At Vale, we help patients get real answers so they can get back to moving comfortably.

Summer feet still need support.

Flip-flops are fine for the pool or beach, but they are not always the best choice for long walks, errands, travel days, or standing for hours. If your feet are aching by the end of the day, your shoes may be part of the problem.

Supportive sandals can make a big difference.

Wharton's jelly injections can be a helpful tool for certain foot and ankle conditions, but they are not a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all answer.

At Vale, we start by looking at what is actually causing the pain. From there, we can talk through whether regenerative treatment makes sense for your foot, your symptoms, and your goals.

The right treatment starts with the right diagnosis.

Some days, this is where Dr. Inocco is happiest: in the OR, fixing the foot problems that have been keeping people from walking comfortably.

She’s board certified, she loves the detail of surgery, and she cares about what happens after it too: less pain, better function, and getting patients back to their normal life.

At Vale, surgery is not the answer for everyone. But when it is the right option, you’re in very experienced hands.

Some visits are quick check-ins. Some are prevention.

We relieve pressure points, monitor circulation, and check skin integrity, especially for diabetic patients.

Prevention is quieter than surgery. But it’s just as important.

At Vale Foot and Ankle Surgery, we always start with conservative care before even talking about surgery. Most of the time, there are plenty of options to try first, and we walk you through what actually makes sense for your situation.

We use tools like X-rays and ultrasound to guide treatment, including targeted injections like steroids or regenerative options such as stem cell products. For a lot of patients, this is the step that finally gets them relief without needing the operating room.

If your heel pain isn’t improving, it doesn’t automatically mean surgery.

Sometimes we need to adjust the diagnosis. Sometimes we need to adjust the approach.

That’s why follow-ups matter.
