Today, we recognize Día de los Mu***os, or Day of the Dead, a Mexican tradition that celebrates the lives and memories of loved ones who have passed away.

Through colorful marigolds, candlelight, photographs, favorite foods, and beautifully decorated ofrendas (altars), families honor those who came before them and keep their memories close.

Día de los Mu***os reminds us that while our loved ones may no longer be with us, the stories they shared, the traditions they passed down, and the love they gave remain part of who we are.

May we always find meaningful ways to remember and celebrate the lives that have touched our own.

For many families, it’s also one of the first opportunities to begin remembering a loved one together, not only through tears, but through laughter, stories and the memories they leave behind.
