Most People Don't Need More Rest.
They Need Better Movement.
Many people assume aches, stiffness, and fatigue are just part of getting older.
They're not.
At Olive Physical Therapy, one of the most common things we see is that people simply stop moving the way their bodies were designed to move.
Long hours at a desk.
Long commutes.
Too much sitting.
Ignoring a small ache until it becomes a bigger problem.
That's why we encourage our patients to find ways to keep moving every day. And movement doesn't always have to happen in a gym.
This morning, our team had the opportunity to volunteer with the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Veterans Business Council, helping place flags throughout our community.
We spent the morning walking, carrying flags, working together, and supporting a meaningful Arlington tradition.
It was a great reminder that staying active can be as simple as showing up, getting involved, and serving alongside others.
Thank you to the Veterans Business Council for organizing this event and to everyone who volunteered.
We were proud to have Rachel Vinyard, Ryan Hayse, P.E., members of our PT team, and Rachel Louzada Da Silva Harris, CD, PCD representing Olive Physical Therapy.
Sometimes the best way to move better is simply to get involved.
