Egy gallon nyers tej: $17.99.

Elsőre nem hangzik olcsónak… de nézzük meg, valójában mi minden készül belőle.

A tetejéről körülbelül 1 liter tejszínt választottam le, amiből nagyjából 300 g friss vajam lett.

De itt még semmi nem megy a kukába.

Az íróból palacsinta készül.

A megmaradt tejből házi túrót készítek.

Inflammation, swelling, painful joints, or recurring sinus problems? This enzyme is worth knowing about.

Serrapeptase is not a conventional painkiller, and it is not a steroid. It is a proteolytic, or protein-digesting enzyme, commonly used in functional and integrative health to support inflammation, swelling, thick mucus, and slow recovery.

It was originally discovered in bacteria living in the digestive tract of silkworms, but modern supplements are made through controlled bacterial fermentation. The enzyme is then purified and placed into capsules. It is not extracted directly from silkworms.

What can it do in the body?

During inflammation, injury, or overuse, fluid, fibrin, and protein-based debris can build up in the tissues. This may contribute to swelling, pressure, stiffness, and pain.

Serrapeptase may support the breakdown of these protein-based materials and may help with:

✓ reducing inflammation and swelling
✓ supporting painful joints, tendons, and soft tissues
✓ recovery after injury or overuse
✓ thinning thick mucus and sinus secretions
✓ reducing edema and tissue pressure
✓ supporting the natural breakdown of fibrin buildup and adhesions

It is often used as supportive care for tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, joint discomfort, sports injuries, post-surgical swelling, and recurring sinus congestion.

Important: serrapeptase is not an antibiotic, so it does not replace proper treatment for an active infection. However, in sinus-related cases, it may help thin thick mucus and reduce swelling, which may make drainage easier.

Why should it be taken away from food?

When taken with food, the enzyme may mainly help digest the protein in the meal.

For systemic support, it is usually taken:

✓ on an empty stomach
✓ at least 45–60 minutes before eating
✓ or at least 2 hours after a meal
✓ with water only

What makes the Serretia product shown here different?

Arthur Andrew Medical Serretia Pure Serrapeptase is a high-potency enzyme formula.

2 capsules: 250,000 SPU
1 capsule: 125,000 SPU

SPU measures the actual activity of the enzyme, which is more important than the milligram amount alone.

This product uses an Acid Armor cellulose capsule, designed to help protect the enzyme from stomach acid so it has a better chance of reaching the small intestine.

According to the label, it contains no:

✓ gluten
✓ dairy
✓ soy
✓ artificial colors
✓ preservatives

Because this is a strong formula, sensitive individuals may want to begin with a lower amount.

Who should not take serrapeptase?

Serrapeptase is not appropriate for everyone.

It should be avoided, or used only with guidance from a qualified healthcare professional, in the following situations:

✗ use of blood thinners or antiplatelet medication
✗ bleeding disorders
✗ frequent nosebleeds or easy bruising
✗ active stomach or intestinal ulcers
✗ very heavy menstrual bleeding
✗ before surgery or dental procedures
✗ pregnancy or breastfeeding
✗ children
✗ acute pus-forming infections without medical evaluation

Serrapeptase is not a miracle cure, but when used appropriately, it may be a valuable tool for supporting inflammation, swelling, pain, and thick mucus.

Low iron levels are common with Hashimoto’s, but the solution is not always simply to “take iron.”
If you have Hashimoto’s and you are constantly tired, losing hair, feeling cold, dizzy, weak, dealing with brain fog, or struggling with exercise tolerance, it may be worth checking your iron stores.
But it’s important: don’t look at just one basic iron marker.
It may be helpful to request a full iron panel:
Ferritin
Serum iron
TIBC / transferrin
Transferrin saturation
CBC / complete blood count
Ferritin is especially important because it reflects your iron stores. Your hemoglobin may still be “normal,” while your iron stores are already low.
With Hashimoto’s, low iron is often not just about “not eating enough iron.”
Common root causes may include:
- poor absorption
- low stomach acid
- gut inflammation
- gluten sensitivity / celiac disease
- autoimmune gastritis
- heavy periods
- poor digestion
That is why an iron capsule alone often does not solve the problem.
If iron is not being absorbed well, or if stomach acid is low, you may take it, but your body may not be able to use it properly. Stomach acid plays an important role in iron absorption.
On top of that, many traditional synthetic forms of iron can irritate the digestive system. They may cause stomach discomfort, nausea, constipation, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and in higher doses, they may even irritate the stomach lining.
That’s why the goal is not to blindly start taking iron.
The goal is to understand:
Why is iron low?
Is digestion working well?
Is there an absorption issue?
Is stomach acid adequate?
Is there a gut or autoimmune connection?
Healthy iron levels are important for energy, oxygen transport, hair health, focus, muscle function, and proper thyroid support.
With Hashimoto’s, sometimes we need to look beyond the thyroid.
Sometimes the body is saying:
“I am not absorbing and using nutrients well enough.”

Leaky Gut Reset Support Protocol
Gut lining support + microbiome support + nervous system support

RepairVite-SE
Saccharomyces Boulardii
Magnesium Glycinate

If you have Hashimoto’s, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, or feel like you react to almost every food… your thyroid may not be the only place to look.

Many people focus only on thyroid labs, but the gut can play a huge role in how the body feels day to day.

The gut lining, microbiome balance, digestion, stress, and sleep can all influence symptoms like bloating, heaviness after meals, low energy, brain fog, and food sensitivity type reactions.

That’s why I like a simple 3-part gut support approach:

1. RepairVite-SE Gut lining + digestive support

RepairVite-SE contains ingredients commonly used in gut lining and digestive support protocols, including L-glutamine, zinc carnosine, and digestive enzymes.

This may be helpful for people who feel bloated, heavy after meals, sensitive to foods, or are working on gut barrier and digestive support.

2. Saccharomyces Boulardii: Gut flora balance support

Saccharomyces boulardii is a beneficial probiotic yeast. It is different from traditional probiotics like Lactobacillus or Bifidobacterium.

I like it because gut support is not just about “adding a probiotic.” The bigger goal is to help support the overall gut environment.

It may be especially helpful for digestive instability, bloating, microbiome support after antibiotics, travel-related digestive support, and food sensitivity type symptoms.

3. Magnesium Glycinate: Stress, sleep + nervous system support

Magnesium glycinate is one of my favorite foundational minerals, especially in the evening.

It supports muscle relaxation, a calmer nervous system, stress balance, and restful sleep. For people with Hashimoto’s, fatigue, overwhelm, or sleep issues, this can be an important part of the bigger picture.

Because gut healing is not only about the gut.

Stress, poor sleep, and nervous system overload can all affect digestion and how the body feels.

So the three pillars are:

RepairVite-SE: gut lining support
Saccharomyces boulardii: gut flora balance support
Magnesium glycinate: nervous system, stress, and recovery support

A simple routine could look like this:

Morning: RepairVite-SE as directed
Lunch or dinner: Saccharomyces boulardii, 1 capsule with food
Evening: Magnesium glycinate before bed (3 - 4 capsule, depend from your stress level)

This can be a supportive 30 - 60 day gut wellness protocol for people dealing with bloating, brain fog, food sensitivity type symptoms, digestive imbalance, or Hashimoto’s / autoimmune wellness concerns.

Hypothyroidism and Sustainable Weight Loss – a Functional Approach

You’re taking T4, your lab results are within range, yet you still feel tired, low on energy, and the extra weight won’t budge.

This is common with hypothyroidism.
Hormone replacement alone is often not enough the body as a whole needs to work together for real progress to happen.

I created my 12-week functional program to support thyroid function in the context of digestion, stress load, energy levels, and lifestyle.
It’s not a diet and not a quick fix, but a structured approach focused on sustainable weight loss and releasing excess weight by restoring the body’s natural balance.

If you’re looking for:
– more balanced body function
– increased everyday energy
– and long-term, sustainable weight loss

you can find more details about the program here:

The goal isn’t short-term results,
but helping your body work with you again.
