Patricia A. “Pattie” Conrad, 82, of North Fort Myers, Florida, and a former Parsons resident, passed away in Parsons at 3:47 a.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2026, at the home of her daughter, Nancy Kemp.

Pattie was born on April 3, 1944, in Parsons to Clarence and Clara Belle (Schmid) Carson. She grew up in Parsons and attended Parsons High School, graduating in 1962. She later attended Parsons Junior College.

Pattie worked at the Parsons Glass Company and at the IMI Flesh Company as a bookkeeper and payroll clerk. She and Dale moved to North Fort Myers, Florida in 2003. She worked at Forestry Resources in Fort Myers and worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement.

Pattie was the “heartbeat of her family and friends” who enjoyed hosting parties, entertaining guests, and having family visit her in Florida for vacations. Christmas was her favorite holiday; she loved decorating and having her family home for Christmas time. She loved the beaches of southwest Florida, Fort Myers, Captiva, and Sanibel were a few of her favorites. She cherished her “Sassy Sisters” friend group in Florida. While she lived in Parsons, she was an active member of the Soroptimist Club and helped with Stella Wells Christmas Auction.

Rhonda Michele Cloke, lovingly known as Michele, was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, compassionate nurse, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ. Her life was a reflection of love, generosity, and an unwavering willingness to help others. She leaves behind a legacy that will continue to live on through the many lives she touched and, most importantly, through the family she loved so dearly.

Michele dedicated more than 30 years of her life to nursing, with a special calling to hospice care. She understood the importance of compassion, comfort, and dignity during life’s most difficult moments. Caring for others was more than a career to Michele; it was a part of who she was. She was the kind of person who would give the shirt off her back to someone in need, never hesitating to lend a helping hand or offer kindness to someone who needed it. Her heart for others was one of her greatest gifts, and the impact of her years of service will never be forgotten.

Throughout her nursing career, Michele developed meaningful relationships with her coworkers, many of whom became an important part of her life. She truly loved working alongside them, sharing experiences, and being part of a team dedicated to caring for others. The friendships and connections she made throughout her years in nursing were another treasured part of her journey. Michele’s compassion extended beyond her patients, touching the lives of the people she worked beside and those fortunate enough to know her.

Above all else, Michele loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were a tremendous source of joy in her life. She loved watching her children play sports and cherished the time she spent watching her grandchildren grow, learn, and experience life. Being there for her family and making memories with them brought her happiness that words can hardly express.

When Michele wasn’t caring for others or spending time with her family, she enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was spending time outside, enjoying the beauty of nature, or casting a line and taking in the peacefulness of the moment. These were the kinds of moments that made life special to her, and the memories of those times will remain close to the hearts of those who loved her.

Her love for Jesus was an important part of her life, and her faith remained a meaningful part of her story. Throughout her health struggles, Michele faced difficult seasons after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis more than 10 years ago. Three years ago, she was also diagnosed with cirrhosis, which ultimately led to her passing. Although these challenges became part of her journey, they do not define the woman she was. Michele will be remembered for her generous spirit, her devotion to her family, her years of caring for others, and the love she gave so freely.

Michele was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Carl Cloke and Katharine Cloke. Though they are no longer here in this life, their memory remains a cherished part of her story.

She leaves behind her four beloved children: Damon and his wif

e, Corinne; Malcolm; Brittany; and Brea Kenney and her husband, Liam. Her legacy continues through her ten cherished grandchildren: Aniyah, 11; Kian, 7; Kayson, 2; Carter, 5 months; Korbyn, 14; Mylah, 14; Khyla, 10; E’Lyah, 7; A’alaya, 2; and Aries, 9 months.

Each of her grandchildren holds a special place in her story, and the love she poured into her family will continue through the generations. Though they will miss her presence, her love, lessons, and memories will remain with them always.

Michele’s life reminds us that a person’s true legacy is not measured by material possessions or worldly accomplishments, but by the love they give, the kindness they show, and the lives they touch along the way. She spent more than three decades caring for others, gave selflessly to those in need, built lasting friendships with her coworkers, loved her family deeply, and held her faith close to her heart.

As we remember Michele, we find comfort in the words of Proverbs 31:30–31:

“Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates.” — Proverbs 31:30–31 (KJV)

These words serve as a beautiful reminder of the woman Michele was. Her life was a testament to the power of faith, the beauty of a giving heart, and the lasting impact of a woman who dedicated herself to caring for others.

Though her family must now learn to navigate a world without her physical presence, Michele’s love will never leave them. She will live on in the memories shared around family gatherings, in the laughter of her grandchildren, in the lessons she taught her children, in the friendships she built with her coworkers, in the peaceful moments spent fishing and enjoying the outdoors, and in every act of kindness inspired by the example she set.

Michele’s hands spent a lifetime caring for others. Her heart made room for those in need. Her faith gave meaning to her journey, and her love created a legacy that time cannot erase.

She was deeply loved, she will be forever missed, and her legacy will live on through every life she touched. May she rest in the loving arms of Jesus, where there is peace, comfort, and no more suffering.
