🥚✨ Raising capable kids starts young.
This morning my 7-year-old made his own eggs… and yes, there was a little mess when the shell cracked 😅 but I let him do it anyway.
Because confidence doesn’t come from being “perfect.”
It comes from practice.
When kids are allowed to try new tasks (even small ones like making breakfast), they’re not just learning life skills — they’re building:
✅ independence
✅ problem-solving
✅ patience
✅ emotional regulation
✅ resilience when things don’t go as planned
The kitchen is actually one of the best “classrooms” for kids.
A spilled egg becomes a lesson in cleanup, coping, and responsibility.
So if your child wants to help cook, pour, crack, mix, or stir…
let them. The mess is temporary — the confidence lasts.
💛 You’re not just raising a helper… you’re raising a capable human.
