A bit of silly fun from our Dolly Parton Happy Hour yesterday.

It was Dolly Day at Willow Pond today. We remembered and celebrated the great Dolly Parton at Happy Hour today. Everyone had to get a picture with Little Dolly. We also passed the hat and raised over $300 for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. As Dolly said "If I'm remembered 100 years from now I hope it will be not for looks but for books." 🦋

It was a beautiful day for a baseball game!!! Last week, we went to see the Red Wings play the Bisons at Innovative Field. We couldn't have asked for a better day, and the Wings won the game!!!

Thanks to our amazing Dining Team, chefs Adam and Alvin, and Dining Director Mike, for making our second International Luncheon a huge hit. We went to Canada this month and had Poutine and Tourtière. 🇨🇦
Everyone left feeling full and happy. We can't wait to go to Germany in September.

What a way to say "Aloha" to summer. Our End of Summer Luau was a fantastic time for all. Friends, family, staff, and residents enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by our amazing Dining Services team, ice cream from the Netsin's truck, dancing to the tunes of DJ Chuck, and even a dunk tank. We're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community. Thanks to the Willow Pond team for making this happen. And, of course, thank you to our FABULOUS residents who make every day one to remember.

It was a beautiful day for a trip to Seabreeze Amusment Park. We had a great time, and some first time Jack Rabbit riders. Don't miss this local favorite for summer fun.

Tom Dunn is one of our absolute favorite entertainers her at Willow Pond. He celebrated his 1,000th show with us this week and brought some special guests with him. He always brings so much joy to his performances and this was no exception. Congratulations, Tom. Here's to 1,000 more shows!!!

Our monthly Ladies Social enjoyed delicious ice cream sundaes. It's always fun to get together with friends to chat and have some yummy treats.

Working on a refresh! Our Executive Director, Taylor, enlisted the help of Willow Ridge VP of Operations Rob in removing the wallpaper in our Living Room, so we can paint it. We love when the staff isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.
