Guacamole 3 ways, from scratch 🥑
As a Latina Registered Dietitian, I love taking simple ingredients and turning them into a variety of dishes.
Guacamole goes back to the Aztecs. The word comes from the Nahuatl "ahuacamolli," or avocado sauce.
Here's what I made:
1. Traditional: avocado, onion, cilantro, jalapeño, lime, salt. Heart-healthy fats and fiber that keep you full and satisfied.
2. Mexican street corn: all the elote flavor with roasted corn, cotija, chili, and lime. Extra fiber and that sweet-smoky bite.
3. Mango: sweet, bright, and loaded with vitamin C. Bonus: the fat in avocado helps your body absorb the carotenoids in mango.
Chili lime chips: sprouted corn tortillas brushed with lime juice and sprinkled with chili powder.
Real flavor from real ingredients that honor your culture.
