For many breast and abdominal surgeries, we offer post-operative ESP (Erector Spinae Plane) pain blocks to help make recovery more comfortable.

One of our amazing CRNAs, Anna Naggatz, explains what a post-operative pain block is, why it’s recommended for many breast and abdominal procedures, and how it helps control pain after surgery. By blocking pain signals before they reach the brain, ESP blocks can provide significant post-operative pain relief and may reduce the need for opioid pain medication.
