Freedom Plaza came together for a meaningful Community Memorial to honor and remember the friends and neighbors we have lost. Surrounded by familiar faces, we gathered in reflection with words from Chaplain Andrew Moore, beautiful music, and time to remember the lives, friendships, and memories that continue to hold a special place in our community.

A heartfelt celebration of life and a reminder that those who have touched our lives are never forgotten.

Thanks to the wonderful volunteers who came out to share information about this exciting opportunity with our Freedom Plaza community! We’re so glad to have them helping our residents discover new ways to keep learning, exploring, and staying engaged. 📚✨

Through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Arizona State University (OLLI at ASU), adults 50+ can enjoy university-level classes covering everything from current events and history to music, space exploration, mindfulness, and more, all without grades, prerequisites, or homework.

Beginning in September, residents can participate in a variety of in-person and Zoom classes at no cost. At Freedom Plaza, there’s always something new to learn and discover!

A foodie trip with all the right ingredients; classic burgers, great American food, and even better company! 🍔🥤 Our residents headed to the Yard House for an afternoon lunch with plenty of laughs, and time spent catching up with friends. Because retirement should always leave room for a little fun—and burgers!
