Join us at Monadnock Community Hospital for our Parkinson’s Support Group! The group meets on the first Wednesday of every month, from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM at the Bond Wellness Center Conference Room. All are welcome, registration is not required.

We welcome patients with Parkinson’s, their families, and caregivers to a supportive space for open conversations and peer support. Each session features rotating guest speakers, offering valuable insights and shared experiences.

Monadnock Community Hospital is proud to recognize four employees who are continuing their education while making a difference for our patients, colleagues, and community.

• Samantha Meattey-Winters, Monadnock Orthopaedic Associates, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Administration

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Jaffrey Open House!

It was wonderful to welcome community members into the newly renovated Jaffrey Family Medicine and Jaffrey Physical Therapy space and introduce them to the teams who care for our neighbors every day.

After nearly 10 months of renovations, the practices are back in a refreshed space designed to improve comfort, privacy, communication, and coordination of care. The project also expanded Jaffrey Physical Therapy, providing more room to support rehabilitation, mobility, and long-term wellness.

We are especially grateful to the MCH donors whose generosity helped make this renovation possible. Thank you for continuing to support local care in Jaffrey and throughout the Monadnock Region.

Monadnock Orthopaedic Associates is pleased to welcome Dr. Robert Lucas to our team as an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon.

Dr. Lucas specializes in the treatment of sports injuries, sprains and strains, fractures, ligament and tendon injuries, arthritis, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. He is dedicated to helping patients of all ages return to the activities they enjoy through personalized, evidence-based orthopedic care.

Dr. Lucas joins Monadnock Community Hospital after completing a Sports Medicine Fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital. He previously completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Massachusetts T.H. Chan School of Medicine, Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation, and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Stony Brook University School of Medicine.

“I am excited to join Monadnock Community Hospital and contribute to the compassionate, high-quality, personalized orthopedic care the organization is known for,” says Dr. Lucas.
