Teamwork in action! Today, members from our leadership and clinical teams took part in an emergency preparedness tabletop drill alongside our partners at Homeland Security and the Granite State Healthcare Coalition.

These hands-on exercises strengthen our readiness and help ensure we can respond with confidence when it matters most. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and continuously improve for the community we serve.

Many common health conditions develop gradually, often without obvious symptoms early on. Men’s Health Month is a reminder that routine check-ups, screenings, and healthy habits can play an important role in long-term health and quality of life.
Preventive care, routine screenings, and healthy habits can help support long-term health and well-being at every age.
Many serious health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers, may develop gradually without obvious symptoms. Regular check-ups and conversations with a healthcare provider can help identify concerns earlier and support healthier outcomes.
Monadnock Community Hospital offers a wide range of services to support men’s health, including primary care, orthopedics, behavioral health, rehabilitation, nutrition support, cancer care, and wellness resources close to home.

Members of the Monadnock Community Hospital medical staff recently traded scrubs and offices for hiking boots and fresh mountain air on Pack Monadnock.

Spending time outdoors, staying active, and connecting with colleagues are all important parts of maintaining overall well-being. It was a beautiful day to enjoy some sunshine, take in the views, and get a little extra vitamin D along the way.

Thank you to our team members who joined the hike and helped make it a fun and memorable outing.

A meaningful milestone and a reason to celebrate.

Last month, Ray Thiel, a patient and friend of Monadnock Community Hospital, became the first person to ring our new chemotherapy bell as he completed his final chemotherapy treatment.

For many patients, the ringing of the chemo bell marks the completion of treatment and the beginning of a new chapter. It is a powerful symbol of strength, perseverance, and hope.

Ray also played an important role in bringing the bell to our Oncology and Infusion Therapy Center, helping make this meaningful tradition possible for future patients.

"The oncology ladies were incredible. I can't say enough great things about them and the care they provided me."

Congratulations, Ray, and thank you for helping create a special way to celebrate important milestones in the cancer journey. ❤️
