A special dining experience at RiverMead! 🍽️✨

Residents recently enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by guest chef Aerin Zavory, owner of Zavory’s and a Food Network champion! With wins on Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, and Cutthroat Kitchen, Chef Aerin brought her award-winning culinary talents right to our community.

It was an evening filled with incredible food, great company, and a memorable dining experience!

RiverMead was proud to join the Western New Hampshire Walk to End Alzheimer’s! 💜

Our residents and staff came together to walk in support of those affected by Alzheimer’s and their families, raising awareness and showing the power of community in the fight to end this disease.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this meaningful event so special. Together, we can make a difference, one step at a time! 💜

Pollinator Power: RiverMead Is Growing Something Good! 🦋

Our resident Landscape Committee has added two Monarch Waystation gardens, one at The Mead and one at The Village, to welcome butterflies and other pollinators.

Each 200-square-foot garden includes at least 20 milkweed plants in several varieties, plus more than 50 native pollinator plants. With coneflowers, anise hyssop, liatris and more, there’s plenty growing to welcome our winged visitors.

Residents rolled up their sleeves to make it happen! More than a dozen helped plant The Village garden, while Landscape Manager Sue Norton and her crew helped with planting at The Mead.

The project also reflects the Landscape Committee’s commitment to supporting NH Audubon’s pollinator research and education. As residents Joyce Perry and Ann Falby shared, “We are committed to making pollinators a priority in our community, to ensure a healthier future for wildlife and people.”

We can’t wait to see who flutters in! 🦋

Thank you to Rivermead CEO, Eric Piekarz, for being our guest speaker at our weekly meeting on Wednesday, October 14th! What an amazing addition to the Peterborough Community. Our next guest speakers will be from the Peterborough Town Library on Wednesday, October 28th at our weekly meeting held at Rivermead from 12-1pm. Peak Into Peterborough showcased the vibrant spirit of downtown with local vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities.

RiverMead was proud to sponsor this annual festival and join in the fun with an entry in the popular soup contest. Our culinary team served up a delicious Italian wedding soup, adding a little RiverMead flavor to the fun!

Events like Peak into Peterborough reflect what we love most about living in the Monadnock Region: a strong sense of community, neighbors who show up for one another, and local organizations working together to make our region a special place to live.

We're grateful to the Greater Monadnock Collaborative - regional chamber of commerce for organizing this wonderful tradition and proud to be part of a community where local businesses, organizations, and residents come together to celebrate all that makes Peterborough special.
