One of the things we’re most grateful for in this business is the partnerships we’ve built along the way.

Construction is never just about the project. It’s about the people we work with, our clients, trade partners, vendors, architects, brokers, developers, and our own team who all play a part in getting the job done.

Labor Day was created to honor the contributions of American workers, and I think that’s worth remembering. So much of what gets built, opened, improved, and moved forward happens because people show up, work hard, solve problems, and work together.

Today, we are just grateful for the people we get to do business with and the trust they place in Knipp Contracting.

Franchise buildouts are their own kind of project.

This is a Massage Envy we built out. Every finish, fixture, and layout detail has to match the franchisor's brand standards, pass their review, and still hit the opening date the owner promised their market. There's no "close enough" in franchise work. The brand book is the contract.

That's the part we like about it. Clear standards, tight schedule, and an owner who needs their doors open. We build QSR and franchise locations across the Valley with that same playbook.

Job walk at a school in Colorado this week with the Shea Foundation team.

We spent the morning walking the campus, talking through phasing, and figuring out what can get done while students are out for summer.

Projects like this are special. When a foundation invests in a school, the work reaches kids for generations. Grateful to be the General Contractor they trust to carry it out, whether that's Arizona, Seattle, or Colorado.

Our crew spent a shift in the kitchen at St. Vincent de Paul food prep, serving line, and a truly humbling amount of dishes.

We build dining rooms for a living. SVdP runs one of the most important ones in Arizona, every single day. Grateful they let us lend a hand
Go serve with them if you get the chance. They will supply the dish gloves.

New shade structure and turf field, finished while the playground sits empty for summer.
That's the thing about school work.

The real construction season is about ten weeks long. Everything has to be planned, permitted, and ordered months before the last bell rings, so the campus is ready when students walk back in.

Playgrounds, shade, classrooms, windows, whole campus renovations. If your school has a project list, the schools that get their projects done next summer are the ones talking to a contractor this fall.

Progress on a school project this wee in Houston Texas. Formwork set and grading underway for a new retaining wall along the property line.

The unglamorous stages matter most. Get the dirt and concrete right and everything after goes smoother.

Schools are some of our favorite clients to build for — these campuses serve kids every day, and the work has to hold up for decades.

When a Catholic school invests in its campus, it's investing in a lot more than a building.
These schools are often the anchor of their parish and their neighborhood, generations of families walk the same halls.

But many of those buildings are 40, 50, 60 years old, and deferred maintenance quietly works against the mission every year.

A renovated classroom changes how students learn. A safe, updated campus tells families their kids come first. And a well-maintained school strengthens the whole community around it.
