🌴☀️ Spirit Week is happening at The Retreat this week!
Yesterday was Beach Day, so we headed to the closest beach we could find... right in our very own Memory Care Activity Room! 😁
We created our own sandy shoreline by crushing up graham crackers and adding gummy worms and fish. Don't worry, we made sure everyone was covered in plenty of "sunscreen" and enjoyed fun fruity drinks while soaking up the beach vibes.
There was lots of laughter, creativity, and smiles all around. I'd say our indoor beach day was a huge success, and we definitely had a ball! 🏖️🐠🍹💙

Giddy up! 🤠 Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 30th because The Retreat at Alameda is hitting the road for our very first High Adventure Field Trip!

We are saddling up and heading north to the World’s Oldest Rodeo in Prescott, Arizona! Even better? We’ll be there for "Ridin' for a Cure" night, showing our support and cheering on the brave riders under the arena lights. 🐎✨

🎲 🎲 Rolling into the weekend like... Left, Right, Center! 🎲 🎲

Things got a little competitive in the community room today! Our amazing residents gathered for a friendly (but fierce!) game of Left, Right, Center.

There was plenty of laughing, a lot of cheering, and maybe just a tiny bit of playful groaning when the dice didn't roll the right way. 😉

Whether they walked away with the grand prize or just a lot of great memories, everyone left a winner today. We love seeing these smiles and the wonderful community we're building together every single day! ❤️

🍩✨ Build Your Own Donut Bar Success! ✨🍩

Our residents turned into master pastry chefs today for National Donut Day! We set up the ultimate DIY donut station, complete with warm donuts, assorted glazes, and every topping imaginable from classic sprinkles and crushed cookies to drizzles.

The creativity was absolutely amazing, but the best part was definitely the sweet conversations and laughs shared over coffee.
