A Delicious Wednesday Out!

What better way to enjoy a Wednesday than with a delicious meal and great company? Our Hawthorn Court residents took a trip to our local favorite, Panda Garden, and had an absolutely wonderful time!

The food was delicious, came out so quickly, and our server was fantastic! They went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs and made our dining experience extra special.

We love creating opportunities for our residents to get out, enjoy the community, share a meal, and make wonderful memories together!

Creative Crafting: Fall Trees!

This week, we brought a little bit of fall into our crafting time by creating these adorable tissue-paper fall trees!
It was just as much fun as it was challenging getting all those little pieces into just the right spots to create that wonderfully puffy texture. There was plenty of patience, creativity, and a few laughs along the way! We loved watching our trees come to life and this project definitely has us hoping for some cool, crisp fall weather soon!

Happy National Dog Day!

Today, we’re celebrating "The Dogs of Hawthorn Court" the beloved pups who belong to our amazing team members.

While these furry friends may not come to the community, they are a special part of the Hawthorn Court family. We love seeing the joy, companionship, and unconditional love they bring to the lives of our team members.

We’re also grateful for the therapy dogs who do visit Hawthorn Court and bring so many smiles and moments of comfort to our residents. (Cassie, Ginger - Not pictured and Sunny.)

We had SO much fun at our Hawaiian Luau!

Our Hawaiian luau dancers absolutely blew us away! Their beautiful performances, energy, and knowledge of Hawaiian culture made the experience truly special and memorable.
And of course, the food was amazing! We enjoyed authentic Loco Moco, Kalua Pork, and delicious pineapple cake.

It was an unforgettable evening filled with great food, beautiful dancing, and the spirit of Hawaiʻi! Mahalo to everyone who helped make our Luau so amazing!

Making Memories Through Music!

Our Hawthorn Court at Ahwatukee residents had an incredible day filled with music, laughter, and a little adventure at the Musical Instrument Museum - MIM!

We enjoyed a wonderful tour through The United States and Canada, discovering the many different sounds, instruments, and musical traditions along the way.

And the fun didn’t stop there! We wrapped up our visit with an amazing drumming session with Frank! Our residents jumped right in, making music, sharing smiles, and creating memories together.

What a fantastic experience celebrating the power of Music & Memory Care at the Musical Instrument Museum - MIM!

A huge thank you to the Musical Instrument Museum - MIM and Frank for such a fun and memorable day! We can’t wait for our next musical adventure!
