A guided painting session took everyone step by step through creating a colorful sunset before adding the finishing touch: a field of sunflowers.
Same instructions, plenty of room to make the painting their own, and some pretty impressive results by the end of class. 🌅

They watched the entire transformation unfold.
Over the past several weeks, we aised Painted Lady butterflies, following them from tiny caterpillars through their chrysalises and finally watching the butterflies emerge.
Before it was time to say goodbye, everyone had the chance to feed them and get one last up-close look.

Then came the final step: releasing the butterflies outdoors and watching them take flight.

Our Yappy Hour really went to the dogs! 🐾🐶

Residents and their four-legged friends gathered for an afternoon of socializing, sipping, and plenty of tail wagging. While residents enjoyed refreshing mocktails, our furry guests were treated to their very own puppuccinos!

Between the happy pups, smiling residents, and lots of mingling, we'd say Yappy Hour was a paws-itively good time!

Sometimes the most impactful work we do in the senior living industry has absolutely nothing to do with standard daily operations.

This week our team at Las Palomas Senior Living experienced the true meaning of community when Assisted Living resident Ed received the surprise of a lifetime. His daughter Cathy traveled all the way from Chicago with a breathtaking plan. At seventy years old she was getting married for the very first time and her ultimate dream was to say her vows with her parents watching.

Their incredible staff immediately sprang into action to make it happen. Within a matter of hours, the team managed to secure a priest, a harpist, gorgeous floral arrangements, and a wedding cake.

The Director of Entertainment and Programming even stepped up to photograph the beautiful ceremony while the family captured video. Cathy was able to walk down the aisle with her mother's vintage brooch pinned to her bouquet, completely surrounded by love.

This spectacular afternoon was a beautiful reminder of our true purpose. We do not just manage communities, we actively facilitate life's most meaningful milestones. We are incredibly proud of our team for moving mountains to turn this impromptu dream into a stunning reality.
