We want to take a moment to sincerely thank Valley Hospital for their continued partnership with AriseVida Care and for allowing myself and Mary, our Community Outreach Specialist, to stop by today for a brief in-service and provide lunch for their case management team.
A special thank you to Marisol Arroyo Portillo, LMSW, Assistant Director of Clinical Services, and the entire team for continuing to welcome us and make time for these connections. AriseVida Care is truly grateful for the relationship we have built with Valley Hospital and for the trust they continue to place in us when sending referrals our way.
We also want to give a big thank you to Nick Regna, who helped open the doors for AriseVida Care to begin building this relationship with Valley Hospital. Those introductions and connections matter, and we are very grateful for the part he played in helping bring our organizations together.
Valley Hospital also holds a very personal place in my heart. Long before I was working in behavioral health and helping others find recovery, I was the one who needed help. During some of the darkest moments of my addiction, Valley Hospital was there for me. They gave me a place to turn when I needed support, compassion, and help.
It means a lot to me that years later, AriseVida Care now has the opportunity to work alongside a facility that once played a meaningful role in my own life. There is something very full-circle about walking back through those doors today as a community partner and helping support people who may be going through some of the same struggles I once faced.
We are incredibly grateful for Valley Hospital, their clinical and case management teams, the referrals they continue to send our way, and the work they do every day for our community.
For me personally, Valley Hospital will always be more than just a community partner. I know firsthand what it means to have them there when you need help, and I will always be grateful for that.
