Some healthcare journeys come full circle.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Buffy worked at Phoenix Children's as a youth counselor. Today, she's helping care for the next generation of children and families in primary care.

One of Buffy's favorite parts of the job is watching her patients grow up. This summer, she celebrated several patients she'd cared for since birth as they graduated from high school and headed off to college.

Big ideas and breakthroughs happen when experts come together, all with one goal: improving the lives of kids.

Shout out to our Phoenix Children's physicians and specialists who represented our Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at the 8th Emirates Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Conference where Phoenix Children's served as the conference's official Knowledge Partner.

Working alongside pediatric specialists from around the world, our team shared expertise, exchanged ideas and learned from colleagues across different healthcare systems and cultures. Those conversations do more than advance the field. They help bring new perspectives, knowledge and innovations back to the children and families we care for every day.
