From urban medical centers to rural and tribal healthcare facilities, healthcare professionals across our state are working tirelessly to care for their communities — often while navigating ongoing workforce shortages and increasing demands.

The incredible nursing staff at the Chinle Service Unit is one powerful example of that dedication in action. Serving patients across the Chinle Indian Health Service Facility, Pinon Health Center and Tsaile Health Center, these nurses continue to deliver high-quality care. đź©ş

Across Arizona, hospital teams are strengthening their readiness to respond to obstetric emergencies through hands-on simulation training. 👶

In partnership with Laerdal Medical, AzHHA continues to support multidisciplinary teams as they practice high-risk scenarios, build confidence and enhance coordination.

In May alone, 737 participants took part in these trainings, reflecting a strong and growing commitment to maternal health.

Together, this work is helping strengthen readiness and improve outcomes for mothers and babies across Arizona.
