We have been working on a new project with our residents. One resident in particular really enjoyed the butterfly release so we have been researching with him what other types of insects could we hatch and release. We all decided after some research we will try to hatch praying mantis! More to follow…:

We have been having fun finding lots of ways to celebrate America’s 250 years of Independence! We reminisced about 1976 and how we celebrated then! So far we have enjoyed fireworks from our deck with our night owls and enjoyed watching the Detroit fireworks with snacks on our tv! We also enjoyed parades and live coverage of our nations celebrations! They have lots more ideas —- time capsules are being put together as we speak! Do you have any ideas what we should include in our time capsule?
