Mrs. Jerilean (Gibson) Roberts, 80, of Mercer, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born on May 25, 1945, in Gould, Arkansas, to the late Mr. Ermer Gibson and Croma (Maxwell) Gibson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Frank Eugene Roberts.

She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Mr. Gerald Roberts of Hamilton, NJ; Mr. Frank G. Roberts of Boston, MA; daughters, Ms. Keimerly Roberts of Princeton Junction, NJ; Ms. Kela Roberts of Cambridge, MA; brother, Mr. Joe Gibson of Eustis, FL.; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2026, at First Baptist Church, Gould, Arkansas by Pastor William Robinson. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Star City, Arkansas by Brown Funeral Home Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

Mr. Christopher Taylor was born to the late Frederick Taylor Sr. and Vera Lee Taylor on July 8, 1976.

He Graduated from Watson Chapel High School in 1995, where he enjoyed playing football. He served in the U.S. Army in 1999 and proceeded to obtain his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Christopher was united in holy matrimony to Lashonda Taylor on July 24, 2017. He loved his occupation of truck driving, which he did for 15 years in which he met a host of close friends who shared the same profession. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved watching football and playing with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Vera Lee Taylor and his sister Lisa Burden.

He leaves to cherish is memories a Loving wife, Lashonda Taylor; One brother, Frederick Taylor, Jr. (Kajuanna); Four daughters; Lillivia Taylor, Ka’leila Taylor, Sakyla Taylor, & Allison Taylor. 2- stepchildren; Kerrell Green, & Kerry Price III, and 3- Grandchildren and one on the way. And a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial Service will be held 5:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Brown Funeral Home Pine Bluff, AR. Burial will be scheduled at a later date. Services entrusted to Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR.

Mr. Kimthimthy Lavell Raymond, Sr., 44, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026. He was born August 31, 1981, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the late Mr. Richard Lever and Mrs. Bettie Jean Scott.

Mr. James Charles Jones Sr. departed his earthly home on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the age of 90. James was affectionately known as 'JC', and was the fifth child of seven children. He was born to the late Rev. William Louis “Mack" Jones 11 and Lula B. Carpenter Jones on February 29, 1936.

In the early to mid 50's, JC, his brother, Johnny, and father, Mack, began a logging company named J&J Logging, which is short for JC and Johnny. J&J Logging was a successful company for more than 40 years. The sons honored the teachings of their father and were very productive. In 1996, JC went independent under the name of 37. In 2001, JC retired from the logging business.

JC had a deep passion for baseball. In 1958, JC played for the Pine Bluff Braves for 30 consecutive years. He was known to load his car with children and take them to the game to see him slide into home base. In July 1988, JC decided to give up his glove and cleats, and pick up his bible and suit. He joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of his brother-in-law, the late, Rev. Calvee Cooper. JC was a dedicated member and deacon until his health started to decline.

On April 29, 1995, JC united in holy matrimony with Mary Lee Stubbs, who as a loving and devoted wife, stood faithfully by his side to the very end.

JC was preceded in death by his aforementioned parents; daughter, Juanna Jones Alexander; granddaughter, Alexandria Nicole "Allie" Cooper; sister, Jennie Jones Ward; and four brothers: Fred Jones, Edward "Ham" Jones, Johnny Jones, and William Louis Jones Jr.

JC leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years, Mary Lee Jones; sons: Michael (Natalie) Jones Sr., Phoenix, AZ; James C. (Linda) Jones, Fenton, MO; Paul Jones and Patrick Jones, Pine Bluff, AR; Gregory Jones, Warren, AR; daughters: Jennifer Jones, Monrovia, CA, and Pauletter Jones, Pine Bluff, AR. Bonus daughters: Alfredia (Jeffery) Cooper, Redfield, AR; Vernita (Wayne) Thompson, Pine Bluff, AR; Alverdia (Addison) Evans, North Little Rock, AR, and Veronica Avery, Pine Bluff, AR. In addition, his memories are cherished by his two sisters: Classie Clark, North Little Rock, AR, and Jeanne Cooper, Redfield, AR, 46 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also, he leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

One of JC's favorite scriptures was, (KJV) Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Mr. Anthony “Insane” Johnson was born on February 14, 1975, to Antoniette “Toni” Thomas of Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

He attended Pine Bluff High School and later worked for Benny Hatchett Construction and Acme Construction. Anthony had a deep passion for remodeling and homebuilding, particularly during his time working alongside Mr. Hatchett. He also dedicated long, demanding summer days to the construction of Highway 530, contributing to the stretch from the Pines Mall to Highway 79.

Anthony fought a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. During this time, he resided in several nursing homes in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. In 2019, he was transferred to The Blossoms in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where, under the leadership of Tanya Brown and her dedicated staff, he found a true home and an extended family. The care and compassion he received there were a profound blessing.

Those who knew Anthony will remember his charismatic personality, especially his charm with the ladies. Even while in the nursing home, that spirit never faded. He formed a special bond with a dear friend, Toni Woodley, whom he affectionately referred to as his wife.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Annette Phillips, Algirtha Thomas, and Sammie Thomas, as well as his great-grandparents, Estella James and Dorsie Mae Redwood.

Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Antoniette Thomas of Dallas, Texas, and Charles Thomas Sr. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; his grandparents Charles Welch (Jeanette) of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Linda Welch of Memphis, TN; his daughter, Latia Hall of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; and his grandsons, TyQuis Laws and Tariq James, also of Pine Bluff.

He is also survived by two sisters, Angela Johnson of Lavon, Texas, and Latasha Butler (Anthony) of Aubrey, Texas; one brother, Charles Thomas Jr. (Kyliesha) of Fort Worth, Texas; two uncles Nicholas Welch (Kela), Landrum Roaf (Barbara); one Aunt Stacy Sharp (Chris); seven nieces and nephews, Taylor Smith of Sachse, Texas, Braylen Butler of Frisco, Texas, Brooklynne Butler of Aubrey, Texas, Za’Reyah Thomas of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Kyla Thomas, Kyrie Craig, and Caydence Thomas, all of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Eric Holloway

One of nine siblings. The basketball player. The clarinet player. The one they called "Donut." The math teacher. The inventor of the Holloway Clip. The tennis coach. A Stuttgart, AR legend. Eric "Coach" Holloway, 80, departed this life peacefully on June 3, 2026.

His legacy will live on through his children: Warrick Holloway, LaCondia Holloway-Bailey, and Bethany (Carlos) Holloway-Williams; grandchildren, Joshua Holloway, Madison Holloway, and Carlos Williams Jr.; siblings, Glenn (Mary) Holloway, Christopher Holloway (fiancée, Barbara Holt), and Jacqueline Holloway; in-laws, Charlie (Scharlde) Franklin and Hosea Long; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, several close friends, former students, athletes, and the Stuttgart community.

Kristal LaTryce Jimmerson

Kristal, a powerful biblical symbol of spiritual purity, divine glory and transparency. A name that evokes qualities of clarity and brilliance. Kristal LaTryce Jimmerson made her appearance on earth August 9, 1980, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was called home by her Heavenly Father on May 27, 2026.

Richard and Kim Jimmerson, her parents, guided her along life’s journey, and they instilled in her a love for the Lord. Kristal was christened at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, where she often tuned in virtually for Sunday morning worship services and Wednesday night Bible Study.

Her heart for helping others led her into healthcare at an early age. Kristal began her journey as a pharmacy technician with Walgreens in 1998, where she made a host of lifelong friends along the way. She became a Registered Nurse through Thomas Nelson Community College’s Inaugural Nursing Program and later earned her bachelor’s degree in health administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her education opened the door to a distinguished career in healthcare, first with Piedmont Healthcare and later with United Healthcare, where she rose through various roles and ultimately served as Director of Client Optimization.

A warm, kind, fun-loving individual who never met a stranger — that was Kristal. a founding member of the Eastside Cowboy’s Group of Atlanta, which currently has over 300 members. She loved traveling with them, celebrating together, and making memories with people who shared her passion. She also LOVED TO COOK, nurture the people she loved, and stayed active in community through the Metro Atlanta Eats and Greets Cooking Group, where she served on the Admin Team and proudly won contests. She appreciated the vibrance of city life in Lithonia, Georgia, being near the energy of Atlanta.

She also loved animals, especially her beloved Saint, a Cane Corso, and Karma, a Presa Canario.

Kristal’s loving memories are cherished by her father, Richard Jimmerson of Cedar Hill, Texas; mother, Kim Jimmerson of Midlothian, Texas; sisters, Terrah Jimmerson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Bianca Jimmerson Moser (David) of Cleburne, Texas; nephews, Landon Moser, and Joshua Jones; niece, Gracelyn Moser; special friend, Darron Wright; bonus daughter, Darayh Wright; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and lifelong friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Evelyn Ross and Mable Jimmerson, and her grandfather, Stanley Ross, Jr.
