🌟Resident Spotlight🌟
This week, we are excited to shine the spotlight on one of our wonderful resident, Eloise S.
It was a pleasure sitting down with Eloise and hearing about her incredible life journey.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Eloise attended school there and proudly considers Philadelphia her hometown. She is also a devoted Philadelphia Eagles fan and loves football!
Eloise enjoyed a successful career working for the U.S. Tax Department for nearly 15 years.
This September, she will celebrate an amazing milestone-her 93rd birthday!
When asked what she is most proud of, Eloise shared her marriage to her beloved husband, Edwin, and her son, Christopher.
Eloise is very proud of her puppy, Carlos. Eloise’s puppy will have her heart forever. She misses him very much.
Eloise became a part of the Hunters Creek Retirement family in August 2016.
She enjoys watching game shows, completing word search books and crossword puzzles, and prefers to stay away from the news unless absolutely necessary.
One of Eloise's greatest passions is cooking. In fact, she would much rather enjoy her own home-cooked meals than dine out at a restaurant!
Travel was also an important part of her life. Eloise and her husband Edwin loved visiting Barbados and even owned a home there at one time, creating many cherished memories together.
When asked what advice she would give to younger generations, Eloise shared these thoughtful words:
"Love thy neighbor as thyself. We need to have love for one another."
