Yesterday, our Oasis group enjoyed a lively and competitive game of bean bag toss. Everyone played very well and had a great time!

We had a full bus for our summer outing. We enjoyed a scenic drive around Lake Minnetonka, taking in the beautiful sights along the way.

Fun activities took place this week at Cornerstone! During Word Mining, we found 77 words from the phrase “Outdoor Barbecue.” Ladies Coffee continues to be a popular gathering, and everyone had a great time visiting and enjoying each other’s company.

Our regular Coloring Club created several beautiful pictures and even completed a weaving project. In Oasis, we enjoyed coloring activities as well as “magic” painting, where a little water reveals a wonderful hidden picture.

Today was definitely a patio day. It started with someone from the Oasis group on the back patio. Then several residents came out to the front patio and I talked them into going on an adventure to the back patio and they loved it!

Yesterday and today was all about coloring and crafts. One of our residents has been working on her owl for several weeks and finally finished it. She did such a great job! Then today we did a weaving craft. Each turned out so unique. We put a poem called "The Tapestry" by Corrie ten Boom on the back.

We celebrated many May birthday's with special entertainment by Tony Garry. Some of our Oasis residents were able to join us and they enjoyed the music (and cake!). See a short video clip in the comments.

At Mother's Day Tea party earlier this month everyone received a beautiful hand fan. This week at Ladies coffee in honor of Victoria Day I shared about the "Secret Language of Fans". It was interesting but playing the alphabet game was more FUN😉. We also had coloring club with some beautiful pictures colored. Several residents have been working several weeks on their pictures which we will share when they are done.

Thanks to Trader Joe's for donating flowers that our residents were able to put together in vases for their rooms. We rounded out the week with our Friday Farkle game. We always have fun with many laughs!

Tulip time at the Arboretum calls for an outing. We enjoyed the 3-mile drive today at the Arboretum to enjoy all the tulips as well as many other plants and flowers.
