Meet Grace Bumpus, one of the newest faces at our Ripley clinic! 👋💙

Grace joined the Mountain River PT team in August, bringing a passion for movement, a love for helping others, and plenty of positive energy! As a Physical Therapist, she loves building relationships with her patients, celebrating their progress, and making recovery a little more fun with plenty of smiles and laughter along the way.

Her love for sports and exercise first sparked her interest in PT, and she's been passionate about helping people get back to what they love ever since.

Outside the clinic, Grace is always up for an adventure! 🥾 She's backpacked more than 20 miles through the Dolly Sods Wilderness, once got to take the controls of an airplane, and has a soft spot for animals (she even dreamed of opening a pet daycare as a kid!). 🐾

We're so excited to have Grace on our Ripley team and can't wait to see the positive impact she'll continue to make on our patients and community!

Consider this your reminder to check your health benefits before December gets away from you.

Take five minutes to see where you stand with your deductible and whether you have any FSA funds to use before the end of the year.

If there’s an ache, pain, or movement issue you’ve been putting off, knowing your benefits now can help you decide what makes sense before the calendar flips.
Coverage, costs, and FSA rules vary by plan, so be sure to check your specific benefits.

There’s more than one way to make progress. 💜

Walking farther. Moving with more confidence. Sleeping better. Getting back to something you love. Knowing what to do when symptoms flare.

In physical therapy, progress is about more than a number. It’s about helping you get back to the things that matter to you.

Your health deserves a spot on your year-end to-do list. 💜

Starting physical therapy now gives you time to build a care plan around your needs and begin making progress before holiday schedules get busy.

And if you’ve already met your deductible, your remaining insurance benefits may help reduce your out-of-pocket costs before your plan resets.

Learn more about why starting now can make a difference:

Many insurance benefits reset January 1. PT plans often run 4-8 weeks, so start in October or November, not December. Star physical therpay early.

Physical therapy is about more than getting back to where you were. It’s about getting back to the life you love. 💜

October is National Physical Therapy Month! 💜
Getting back to work. Picking up your kids. Returning to the sport you love. Walking with more confidence. Doing the everyday things that make life feel like yours.
Physical therapy can change more than how you move. It can change how you live.
This month, we’re celebrating the impact of physical therapy and the people who make it possible.
