Start by identifying your needs and limits. Communicate them clearly and calmly, using honest and respectful language. Practice saying no without guilt, and remember that consistency helps others understand and respect your boundaries. Most importantly, give yourself permission to prioritize your well being.

Different Types of Boundaries 💚

Boundaries help protect our mental health and strengthen relationships. They can show up in different areas of life.

Emotional boundaries help us separate our feelings from others and allow us to express emotions safely. Physical boundaries involve personal space and touch, helping us feel comfortable and respected. Mental boundaries support our thoughts, values, and opinions, even when they differ from others. Time boundaries protect our energy by helping us decide how we spend our time and when to say no. Digital boundaries guide how and when we engage with technology and communication. Workplace boundaries keep us grounded at a place you spend most of your time. Relational boundaries help us manage our interpersonal relationships by giving clear guidelines as to what is acceptable.
