When everything feels urgent, everything demands your attention.
Anxiety can pull you into constant problem-solving—replaying conversations, anticipating what could go wrong, analyzing every possibility, and trying to prepare for every outcome.
Before you know it, your attention is consumed and your energy is spent on things that haven’t happened, may never happen, or may not actually require your attention right now.
Not every thought deserves your energy.
Not every possibility deserves your preparation.
Not every uncomfortable feeling requires immediate action.
You are allowed to protect your energy from the things anxiety insists are urgent.
