Important Reminder for Medicaid insured patients:
Open Enrollment October 1, 2026
Open enrollment for Statewide Medicaid Managed Care runs October 1 – November 30, 2026, for enrollees in all regions. During this time, enrollees can switch plans or stay with their current one. Reminder letters go out starting July 2026, with all mailings completed by September 30, 2026.

Starting October 1, enrollees may request a plan change through any of the following (changes take effect December 1, 2026):

1. Text: ENROLL to FLSMMC (357662) — Medicaid ID and account PIN required
2. Online: www.flmedicaidmanagedcare.com — Member Portal or Enrollment Virtual Assistant
3. Phone: 1-877-711-3662 to speak with a Choice Counselor

Tomorrow, April 2nd, marks 14 years since Cepero Pediatrics opened. We have seen so much growth and change over the years, but the best part is seeing the growth of the patients and families that trust us every day. Happy Anniversary Dr. Cepero!

Please read this Notice regarding schedule changes at Cepero Pediatrics:
You asked and we listened!
At Cepero Pediatrics we do multiple random surveys throughout the year to see how we can better serve you and our staff. One of the most common things asked for is before and after school appointments times, so kids don’t have to miss school as much and parents don’t have to miss as much work. Based on this, we have changed our schedule to have more appointment times available before 8AM and after 3pm.
To be able to offer more early morning appointments for our patients and keep up with our staff’s work satisfaction/work-life balance, we have had to rearrange our provider and staff schedules. We will now only have one provider seeing patients on Friday afternoons that will be seeing mostly sick patients. Our office hours will remain the same, Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM, with our phones on from 7AM-11:30AM and 1PM-4:30PM.
In the coming weeks, you may receive a text message about your child’s appointment being moved to a different date or time. If the new appointment isn’t convenient for you, please call the office right away to find a better time. We love and appreciate all our families and are always striving to find more ways to improve patient care and satisfaction.

¡Lo has pedido y te escuchamos!
En Cepero Pediatrics realizamos múltiples encuestas aleatorias a lo largo del año para ver cómo podemos servir mejor a la familia de nuestros pacientes y a nuestro personal de trabajo. Una de las cosas más comunes que piden los padres en estas encuestas es que hayan mas citas antes y después del colegio, para que los niños no tengan que faltar tanto al colegio o los padres al trabajo.
Basándonos en esto, hemos cambiado nuestro horario para tener más citas disponibles antes de las 8 de la mañana y después de las 3 de la tarde. Para poder ofrecer más citas matutinas a nuestros pacientes y mantener la satisfacción laboral y el equilibrio entre vida laboral y profesional de nuestros empleados, hemos tenido que reorganizar los horarios de nuestros proveedores y personal. Ahora solo tendremos un profesional atendiendo pacientes los viernes por la tarde y atenderá principalmente a pacientes enfermos.
Nuestro horario de oficina se mantendrá igual, de lunes a viernes de 7:00 am a 5:00pm, con los teléfonos encendidos de 7:00am a 11:30am y de 1:00pm a 4:30pm
En las próximas semanas, puede que usted reciba un mensaje de texto informando que la cita de su hijo se ha trasladado a otra fecha o hora. Si la nueva cita no le resulta conveniente, por favor llama a la consulta de inmediato para encontrar un mejor momento. Amamos y valoramos a todas nuestras familias y siempre estamos esforzándonos por encontrar más formas de mejorar la atención y la satisfacción de los pacientes.
