✨ Meet the Staff: Alexandra Santiago ✨

Originally from the North but a PSL local at heart, Alexandra has spent summers here since she was 8 years old. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and is currently earning her Master’s in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial-Organizational Psychology—basically studying workplace dynamics while living them every day. 😂📚

Now in her third year at Miracles, Alexandra has worked her way up from Clinical Support Staff to Program Manager. She helps oversee admissions, billing, HR, operations, and just about anything else that comes her way. Official title: Program Manager. Unofficial title: problem solver, team supporter, and professional chaos coordinator. 🔍☕😂

Outside of work, she’s a soccer official, proud auntie to 9 rescued pups, follower of Jesus, and someone who values faith, compassion, service, and helping others. 🐾✝️💙

If you've ever called, emailed, texted, or needed something fixed, there's a good chance Alexandra was behind the scenes making it happen. She is so often a steady hand that guides our staff through difficult times. We appreciate you Alex!

✨️ Meet the Staff: Stephanie Bartolone ✨️

Meet the legend herself — Miracles Recovery Center’s longest-standing employee, Stephanie 👑 Which is exactly why she earned the highly coveted office with a window. Around here, that office isn’t just décor… it’s seniority, survival, and pure dedication. Stephanie is the definition of recovery success: coming up on 13 years sober and living proof that rebuilding your life is possible. From case management to medical assisting, she somehow manages to keep the entire place running while also keeping clients accountable, staff sane, and chaos to a minimum. Honestly, if Miracles had a backbone, it would probably be Stephanie.

Need someone to advocate for you? Stephanie. Need someone to tell you the truth? Stephanie. Need someone to help keep you out of jail? DEFINITELY Stephanie 😂 Clients adore her, staff depend on her, and somehow she still has enough left over to be the best mom, auntie, and friend all at once. Also important to note: “mom hugs” are available… but for staff only. Exclusive benefits package. ✨ Meet The Staff: Jodi Patterson ✨

If you’ve ever met Jodi Patterson, chances are she made a lasting impression.

Jodi is one of those people who truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Whether it’s advocating fiercely, finding creative ways to connect with someone who trusts absolutely nobody, or simply showing up with compassion and consistency, she has a gift for helping people feel comfortable and cared for. Even the “hard-to-reach” clients somehow end up connecting with Jodi… honestly, we think it might be a superpower. 🦸‍♀️

She holds a Master’s in Social Work and apparently decided that wasn’t enough work, so she’s currently finishing up her SECOND master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management. Because relaxing is apparently not part of her born and raised New York lifestyle. 😅 She brings that perfect mix of toughness, humor, and heart everywhere she goes. 🗽

Outside of helping save the world one client at a time, she’s also a proud mom to her amazing 10-year-old daughter and absolutely loves her dog. 🐶👑

Jodi genuinely cares about people and puts her whole heart into what she does every single day. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of the Miracles family! 💙

Meet The Staff: Rod Huggins 💙

If you’ve been around Miracles Recovery Center for more than 5 minutes, chances are you’ve met the one and only Rod — our Lead Therapist, professional encourager, and certified gentle giant. Seriously… if wisdom, compassion, and calming energy were a person, it would probably look a lot like Rod.

With over 20 years of experience in behavioral health and social work, Rod has helped countless individuals and families navigate recovery, rebuild their lives, and rediscover purpose.

Rod has a huge heart for recovery and believes deeply in the resilience and potential of every client he works with. He’s the kind of therapist who can challenge you, support you, make you laugh, and somehow still make you feel completely safe all at the same time.

Outside of Miracles, Rod is a proud husband to his beautiful wife and an amazing dad to his two sons, ages 16 and 11 — which probably explains his elite-level patience skills. 😅

We are beyond grateful to have Rod as part of the Miracles family. Just don’t let the calm demeanor fool you… this gentle giant definitely knows when it’s time to hold clients accountable too. 💪

**Meet The Staff Series (cont.)**

Meet our incredible Executive Director, Taylor Hooper!

With two Master’s degrees and having recently passed her LCSW Clinical Exam, she might be one of the smartest people you know! Taylor brings over 6 years of passion and dedication to the recovery field. She truly values being part of each client’s journey toward healing from substance abuse and mental health challenges.

Outside of her leadership and clinical work, Taylor has a husband and 3 children, and she is all about spending quality family time. Whether she’s cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, enjoying a good, sometimes fancy cup of coffee (see below), or praying for a minute of peace and quiet, she knows how to balance it all. From the streets to the spotlight, Taylor brings both heart and drive to everything she does.

We’re soooo lucky to have her leading the way!

🚨 Meet The Staff Series is HERE! 🚨

Let’s kick things off with none other than Derek Clenzi — the new face of Miracles Recovery Center.

If you’ve been anywhere in Florida, chances are Derek has been there too—connecting with individuals, organizations, treatment centers, doctors, therapists, employers… honestly, the list never ends.

When he’s not out making things happen, you’ll find him back at the center—brainstorming new ways to elevate our program or coming up with creative, meaningful (and usually fun) activities for both staff and clients. With his experience, passion, and what we’re pretty sure is a different service commitment for every day of the week, it’s safe to say Derek doesn’t really “clock out.”

Derek plays a role in every single client’s journey—both coming in and moving forward—and truly believes in the power of recovery. In his world, everyone has the potential to become a Miracle… and yes, he fully believes every client is always telling him the truth (we’ll let him have that one 😄).

Now, quick heads up—if Derek is locked in on his phone or deep in thought, you might need to repeat yourself a few times… okay, maybe 5–10… but once you’ve got his attention, you’ve got someone who genuinely cares and will go above and beyond for you.

And yes… he’s always on his phone—even internationally (Brazil, anyone?).

All jokes aside, we are incredibly grateful to have Derek as a leader in the Miracles family. His dedication, heart, and willingness to help anyone in need never go unappreciated.
