AllergyAIDE The AllergyAIDE team is on a mission to make allergy management safer, faster and simpler for everyone. Here’s how it works:

1.

The AllergyAIDE digital anaphylaxis action plan (AAP) is designed to simplify the process of creating and maintaining action plans and can be easily shared so that it is accessible as an interactive guide should an event occur. AllergyAIDE is designed for all patients at risk for anaphylaxis. For students, schools/camps and doctors’ offices, this digital plan replaces traditional paper plans. You can download a printable PDF paper plan but the digital plan also remains always accessible on your phone or computer and on the AllergyAIDE portal at your school/camp/daycare and your doctor’s office. No more unnecessary trips back and forth to the doctor’s office for your forms to be completed. For school/camps/daycares and healthcare providers, the digital plan helps you streamline, organize and simplify the action plan process and all plans are maintained in your customized portal. Parent fills in basic information about the child and emails plan to healthcare provider
2. Healthcare provider reviews information, adds instructions and dosing, electronically signs the plan and emails back to parent
3. Parent can now email the plan to school, camp or daycare
4. School can email request to parent when a new action plan is required

We’re excited to be attending this year’s College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) Annual Scientific Meeting from November 12–16 in Phoenix, Arizona.

This year’s theme “Building Bridges for the Future” is aptly timed with the launch of AllergyAIDE - a new, digital approach to anaphylaxis plan management supporting clinical guidelines and enhancing patient and caregiver preparedness.

Our team is very much looking forward to the opportunity to connect and collaborate with allergists and other leaders in allergy care to exchange ideas and share how AllergyAIDE is helping modernize anaphylaxis management.

If you’ll be there, come visit us at our booth.

Did you join our Founder Dr Gregory Puglisi on All 'About Food Allergies for School Nurses last week? The School Nurse, LLC kindly invited Dr. Puglisi to share practical insights on food allergy action plans, talk through real‑world considerations for school nurses, and look at how tools like AllergyAIDE can support safer, more organized allergy management.

Dr Puglisi commented:

“It was a real pleasure to be invited by Elisabeth Barclay to support such a wide‑ranging and dedicated community of school nurses. We explored the advantages of moving their allergy action plans into a digital environment - giving staff across their school groups instant access to the information they need to act quickly and confidently in an anaphylactic emergency. There’s so much opportunity ahead for school nurses to streamline processes, reduce administrative pressure, and make allergy management easier and safer for everyone.”

With schools across the United States back in action, allergy preparedness becomes front and center again. We’re proud to be supporting students and schools by launching AllergyAIDE with select schools in New York, helping them streamline how allergy action plans are managed and accessed.

AllergyAIDE gives school nurses, administrators, and health teams the tools they need to stay organized and confident with:

👉 Fully complete, up-to-date action plans that ensure every student’s plan is accurate, current, and stored in one secure digital location.

👉 Digital plans with more detail than paper versions - Our digital action plan includes all the vital information from your existing paper plan, plus enhanced features that support quicker decisionmaking.

👉 Smart sorting and filtering so teams can view students by school, grade, or allergen, making it easier to prepare for classroom activities, field trips, and high risk environments.

If needed, schools can still download and print the AllergyAIDE custom paper plan, while knowing the digital forms remain safe and secure with access available at all times.

As schools return to a new academic year, we’re committed to helping them stay organized, prepared, and confident in their allergy management.

Imagine a world where every parent, school, and caregiver can access a child's allergy action plan instantly.💡 Built by allergists, AllergyAIDE has created the first digital anaphylaxis action plan platform designed to make allergy management easier, clearer, and more reliable for everyone involved in a child's care.

Parents enter their child's details right from their phone, clinicians add dosing and instructions with an electronic signature, and the completed plan can be shared straight to schools, camps, or daycare.

No repeat appointments. No lost forms. Just quick, secure access whenever it's needed.

The plan grows with your child too - guidance automatically adjusts from infant-specific symptoms to the standard guidelines used from age 3 on, and it's always clear on when to treat and when to call 911.

The digital plan stays available on your phone, computer, and accessed via a personalized QR code. It includes the latest anaphylaxis guidelines, a reaction diary for notes and photos, and full compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, data encryption, secure authorization, and privacy protections.

Food allergies are more common than many people realise. According to the CDC Global, an estimated 1 in 13 children (about two per classroom) have a food allergy, and 2 in 5 have needed emergency care for a reaction at some point. These numbers show why having clear, accessible plans in place matters for families, schools, and caregivers.

While there’s currently no cure for food allergies, there are tools to help families stay organised and prepared. That’s where AllergyAIDE (currently in Pilot) will come in:

📌 Your child’s allergy action plan is always one tap away
📌 Clear, step‑by‑step guidance during an allergic reaction
📌 Easy sharing with schools, babysitters, coaches, and relatives
📌 Track symptoms and notes for better follow‑up with your clinician
📌 Print or complete the forms your school requires
📌 Get reminders before your epinephrine expires

AllergyAIDE isn’t a replacement for medical care, but it will make everyday allergy management simpler, more organised, and more reassuring for families. If allergies are part of your daily life, learn more about what’s coming next: https://allergyaide.com/

Summer Camps are kicking-off this week and our team has been busy working with a number of camps preparing for the pilot of our brand-new CAMP (Camper Anaphylaxis Management Program). This is the first step in offering a safer and more organized way to manage severe allergies.

By offering a simple, unified digital Anaphylaxis Action Plan (AAP) platform, we bring camps, families, and healthcare providers together, so every plan stays up‑to‑date, easy to access, and effortless to follow in case an anaphylactic event occurs.

If your child has allergies and is off to camp this summer, it’s possible you might be among the first in the world to trial this ground-breaking digital app.
