Last Thursday, UCF hosted an Ice Cream Social for Residents and Team Members, offering a chance to enjoy a sweet treat while connecting, relaxing, and spending time together. The event featured ukulele music from the M.C. Jammers and RoseVilla's own Two-Chord Band, bringing the cheerful sounds of the Pacific Islands to delighted listeners.

It was the perfect way to stay cool on a warm day and add a little extra joy to everyone's afternoon!

Today is the final day of our annual Team Member Olympics! Over the past five days, RoseVilla Team Members have come together to compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy a week filled with fun, teamwork, and friendly competition. It's one of our favorite traditions and ways to celebrate our team 🏆

Pride has no age—and our Residents prove it every year. 🌈✨

Our annual RoseVilla Pride Parade returned to campus on Friday, and Residents showed up ready to celebrate. With music, drinks, dancing, and plenty of laughter, it was an afternoon full of fun and connection.

A huge thank you to our Team Members who helped make it all happen—from driving the surreys to serving refreshments and celebrating right alongside Residents. We wrapped up the evening with a dance party, and let's just say the dance floor did not disappoint 💃🕺

is a day of reflection, celebration, and commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States.

Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth”, was instrumental in establishing this day of national observance. At age 89, she made a symbolic walk from Fort Worth to Washington, D.C., to advocate for federal recognition of Juneteenth. Her determination, resilience, and belief in the power of community helped inspire, educate, and unite people across generations.

Today, we honor Opal Lee’s legacy and the strength, resilience, and perseverance of a people who have fought for freedom, justice, and equality. May we continue to learn from history, celebrate progress, and carry forward the work of building a more inclusive future.
