is a day of reflection, celebration, and commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States.

Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth”, was instrumental in establishing this day of national observance. At age 89, she made a symbolic walk from Fort Worth to Washington, D.C., to advocate for federal recognition of Juneteenth. Her determination, resilience, and belief in the power of community helped inspire, educate, and unite people across generations.

Today, we honor Opal Lee’s legacy and the strength, resilience, and perseverance of a people who have fought for freedom, justice, and equality. May we continue to learn from history, celebrate progress, and carry forward the work of building a more inclusive future.

RoseVilla's Harvest Grill has always been a hub for Residents and Team Members to eat, relax and socialize, but after listening to feedback, we knew that some change was needed. In a complete renovation, we addressed concerns about sound, comfort and accessibility while also giving the restaurant a whole new look!

The space was fully reimagined in partnership with Spellman Brady & Company and special thanks to Deacon Construction, LLC. The newly opened and remodeled Harvest Grill has significantly improved our Resident, guest, and Team Member dining experience 🍽️🫂
