Make & Mary

10/02/2026

We are in full production mode over here. I was making the other day and thought, “this is why I’ll never retire, I love the plants and the making too much!” How could I not make?

There’s so much that goes into merging two businesses, new packaging, new site, the backend business stuff. I’m almost there! Thank gawd I’m surrounded by the energy of the plants to keep me balanced 🌱

I’ve bottled up a lot of new sacred waters I made over the summer. We have a few new tinctures and a new salve coming. Plus so much more, can’t wait to share!

Hello! I wanted to share with you what I’ve been working on! Not only the merging of Casa de Ritual and Make & Mary but a pitch for Portland Latino Founders.

I’m honored to be invited to share my story and also a little nervous to pitch to an audience of my peers. Whoever wins takes home the grand prize. The audience chooses, and we could really use this win right now.

So I would love to have you come and support me on Thursday evening, Oct.8th at the Newmark Theatre.

You can use the code below for a sweet discount. I’ll be pitching along with 9 other founders, including a few of my friends :) I hope to see you there! Or drop a ❤️ below to wish me luck! 🙏🏽

A Candle & Harvest Moon Ritual✨🌕️✨

Cleanse your space, darken the room and spark the candle flame. Keep your eyes focused on the flame throughout this meditation. Think good thoughts of abundance & release. Breathe in the fullness of all that brings you joy, calm, and peace. Imagine the light of the moon entering your body, cleansing and healing. Breathe out and see its light flowing through you, cascading down and all around you. Sit in the silence of these thoughts, sit in the fullness of all that you are…

I was in Mexico for one of my visits a few years back and the name for our shop, Casa de Ritual came to me. I was thinking about all of the roads I have traveled, the paths I’ve taken and how I could keep everything housed together, and so here we are. As I move to merge, and fold Make & Mary into this latest version of myself, I’m happy to land here… most likely my last grand endeavor. I say that and think, “yeah ok” I can’t imagine ever really retiring. I love the service work I do too much… it is hard to start new things, but it’s hard to end them too.
