If you plan a simple fire inspection for the day… 🚒
you might think it’ll be quick, and routine.
But if firefighters come with no trucks and no gear,
the kiddos might wonder… “Wait—why are they here?”
So they’ll ask a few questions, maybe two… maybe more,
and pretty soon there’s laughter echoing through the door.
And if the firefighters stay just a minute to chat,
the kiddos might say, “Hey… want to play cards? How about that?”
And if you sit down for a round or two,
you’ll find smiles growing (and maybe some giggles too).
And if there’s laughter and connection filling the room, you might forget it started as a simple check-up…
And just before they head out, what do they do?
They pass out swag bag little surprises for the crew.
And just like that, in the most unexpected way,
a routine inspection turns into the best part of the day. ❤️
