Make Mealtimes Safe and Successful 🍽️

For children with dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), posture matters! Encourage your child to sit upright with their feet supported during meals and snacks. Good positioning can help improve swallowing safety and reduce the risk of choking.

✨ Take your time, offer small bites and sips, and minimize distractions during meals so your child can focus on eating and drinking safely.

If you have concerns about your child's feeding or swallowing skills, a feeding and swallowing evaluation can help identify strategies to support safe and enjoyable mealtimes.
