From snails to ice cream and even a few farm animals, it was a busy week at Prairie Maison! ☀️
Residents kicked off the week by creating fun snails for the art display walls and spent plenty of time enjoying the sunshine, laughter, and good conversation.
The oversized pants game returned this week, bringing lots of laughs as residents tested their aim. While the balls were supposed to land in the pants, a few may have found their way toward staff instead 😄
Residents also had a great time creating cows for June Dairy Month 🐄 and later enjoyed a special visit from the Udder Brothers Ice Cream Truck 🍦. Staff and residents alike enjoyed soaking up the sunshine while enjoying a sweet treat.
We also celebrated a few birthdays this week, including a very special milestone. Our oldest resident turned 105 years young! 🎉
To round out the week, residents were treated to a visit from a variety of furry and feathered friends. Horses, ducks, goats, chickens, pigs, bunnies, kittens, and even a dog stopped by to say hello 🐴🐐🐰🐶
There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and moments of amazement throughout the visit. A huge thank you to everyone who generously shared their animals with us and helped make the day so special ❤️
