Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At True Self Speech Therapy, we believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and respected for who they are.

We are proud to provide gender-affirming voice therapy for transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals seeking a voice that feels authentic and aligned with their identity. Our approach is collaborative, individualized, and centered on each person's unique goals.

While Pride Month is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community, our commitment to providing affirming care extends throughout the entire year.

Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and empowering Pride Month. πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆπŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

May is Stroke Awareness Month and as we close out I wanted to focus on the family and friends of stroke survivors.

I went back go school to become a speech pathologist after a close family member had a stroke and was left without her ability to speak, eat, or walk. As one of her primary caregivers I felt lost.

This blog post helps break down how friends and families can stay and feel connected.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who served our country and made the ultimate sacrifice. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

At True Self Speech Therapy, we are grateful for the opportunity to support veterans in our community who are navigating neurological conditions and communication challenges.

Speech therapy is about more than communication- it’s about helping people stay connected to their families, communities, independence, and sense of self.

Today, we remember those we have lost and extend our deepest gratitude to all veterans and military families for their service and sacrifice.
