🇺🇸❤️ Bringing the spirit of Jamestown into the community, one visit at a time!

Our wonderful Family Advisors, Shauna Stimson and Tracy Wagstaff, have been sharing this adorable patriotic décor piece during home visits and community outreach events. While it may be a small decoration, it carries a big message about who we are: a community built on connection, compassion, and a heartfelt commitment to serving seniors and their families.

Every visit is an opportunity to listen, support, and build meaningful relationships. Shauna and Tracy do an incredible job representing the welcoming spirit of Jamestown, helping families feel informed, valued, and cared for from the very first conversation.

As we celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary, we’re proud to share a little red, white, and blue wherever we go and even prouder to have team members who embody the warmth and hospitality that make Jamestown feel like home. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you, Shauna and Tracy, for being such wonderful ambassadors for our community!

🇺🇸 We were honored to welcome Congresswoman Celeste Maloy to Courtyard at Jamestown today! 🇺🇸

Our residents enjoyed the opportunity to hear her speak, learn more about the issues impacting our communities, and ask thoughtful questions during an engaging discussion. It was a meaningful experience to connect with an elected leader who took the time to listen, share her perspectives, and spend time with our residents.

At Jamestown, we believe it’s important to stay informed, involved, and connected to the world around us. Today’s visit was a wonderful reminder that every voice matters and that civic engagement has no age limit.

Thank you, Congresswoman Maloy, for your visit and for making time to connect with our residents. ❤️🤍💙

🥤🍨 We celebrated National Ice Cream Soda Day today with a sweet social featuring just about every soda flavor you could imagine! Residents mixed and matched their favorites to create delicious ice cream sodas, enjoyed great conversation, and shared plenty of smiles along the way.

National Ice Cream Soda Day is celebrated each year to honor one of America’s classic treats. The ice cream soda dates back to the late 1800s when soda fountains became popular gathering places in communities across the country. Combining fizzy soda with creamy ice cream created a timeless favorite that has been bringing people together for generations.

Today was a wonderful reminder that some of the sweetest memories are made over simple treats and good company. ❤️🍦🥤

🔥👔 Friday, we kicked off Father’s Day weekend with a fantastic BBQ celebration honoring the incredible fathers, grandfathers, and father figures in our community! Residents enjoyed a delicious meal featuring grilled steak, BBQ favorites, fresh corn on the cob, baked potatoes, sweet watermelon, and homemade cornbread with honey butter. 🌽🥩🍉

The afternoon was made even more special by a talented guest singer from Pop Orchestra, who delighted everyone with favorite songs from beloved musicals. 🎭🎶 There was plenty of singing along, smiling, and toe-tapping as Broadway came to Jamestown!

It was a wonderful day filled with great food, great music, and even better company as we celebrated together. ❤️

🇺🇸Today we had the opportunity to welcome Utah County Commissioner candidates Brent Bowles and David Spencer to Jamestown. Our residents enjoyed hearing each candidate share their vision for the future of our community, discuss important local issues, and answer thoughtful questions from the audience.

One of the things we value most is helping residents stay informed, engaged, and connected to the decisions that impact their daily lives. It was wonderful to see such meaningful conversation, respectful dialogue, and active participation from everyone involved.

A heartfelt thank you to both candidates for taking the time to visit, listen, and connect with our residents. Civic engagement has no age limit, and today’s event was a great reminder that every voice matters. 🇺🇸✨

🧇☀️ Today was our last Waffle Wednesday until next spring!

We enjoyed one final morning filled with delicious waffles, sweet toppings, and even sweeter company. Waffle Wednesdays have become a favorite tradition, bringing everyone together around the table for laughter, conversation, and a great start to the day.

Now we’re excited to see what Chef Chester has cooking up for the summer season! 🌞🍓🍉 If his past creations are any indication, we’re in for some tasty surprises and fun new traditions.

Thank you to everyone who made Waffle Wednesdays such a wonderful part of our week. See you next spring, waffles! ❤️🧇

🎨☕ Paint Café was such a fun afternoon!

Our residents had a whole smorgasbord of projects to choose from, including mugs, tote bags, wooden signs, greeting cards, birdhouses, and trinket boxes. It was wonderful to see everyone browsing the tables, picking out something that caught their eye, and making it uniquely their own.

There was plenty of creativity, conversation, and laughter as friends shared ideas and admired each other’s work. Some projects were colorful and bold, while others were simple and heartfelt, but every piece reflected the personality of the person who created it.

Activities like this remind us that it’s not about making something perfect. It’s about enjoying the process, trying something new, and spending time together. By the end of the afternoon, our tables were covered with beautiful creations and our residents left with something special to take home. ❤️🖌️✨

Researchers have finally uncovered the secret gathering place of Utah’s oldest vampires…

Turns out they’re all at Jamestown, walking laps, doing PT, staying active, and refusing to age gracefully because apparently aging isn’t part of the plan. 🧛‍♂️😂✨

Bella may have been team Edward, but we’re team David!😆🥰

🇺🇸 Today we gathered to honor Flag Day with a special Changing of the Flag Ceremony. We ceremonially retired our current flag and proudly raised our commemorative 250th Anniversary Flag in celebration of our nation’s upcoming 250th birthday.

A special thank you to BYU Cadet Luke Allen and Command Sergeant Major Randy Edwards for helping make this meaningful event possible. We were also honored to recognize and celebrate the many veterans in attendance whose service and sacrifice continue to inspire us.

Residents enjoyed viewing a beautiful collection of historic and modern American flags while learning about their significance throughout our nation’s history. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the values, freedoms, and traditions that unite us.

We wrapped up the afternoon the best way we know how, with good conversation, great company, and delicious root beer floats! ❤️🤍💙🍦🇺🇸
