It's officially PRIDE MONTH!!!

We extend the warmest love and affirmation to you this month as we celebrate another year of being uniquely true to who we are. Pride celebrations in the USA started on the one-year anniversary of the Stonewall riots. While there was more than one demonstration during this time, these have been commonly summarized to "Stonewall." Stonewall became known around the world as an event that marked the community standing up for the right to exist and self-express against governmental suppression.

One of the greatest gifts and contributors to our resilience is our ability to create community and support each other across the identity labels, divides, and distinctions. Greenwich Village is one example of our ability to come together, grow, and thrive when we are seen and loved for exactly who we are. Together we can overcome anything.

Speaking of Pride, we hope to see you at Plateau Pride 2026 on August 16th from 12-6pm.

Goodness, May is FLYING by!! We got so excited to share Plateau Pride 2026 and the stages of development with you that we almost forgot to share any important dates and recognitions for this month, and there are A LOT of them. This list isn't exhaustive. If there is a day or awareness that is important to you, please feel free to share it with us in the comments! We love to celebrate in community and lift each other up.
