Thursday 7/9 in review

Wednesday 7/8 we started off with Bible stories and the treat cart. Then we exercised body and brain. We played with F***y the greyhound and played rummikub. We played bingo and watched Ross win a house best — 6 times! But it’s ok we all got treats. We laughed a lot. We ended with dominoes.

Tuesday it got so hot out that we had a snow day. We started with a snowballl fight then had fun with Sue singing ing and dancing and go fish and puzzles. We did tai chi and manicures and played games while continuing to throw snowballs. We played Jeopardy with a snow and cold theme then drank frozen hot chocolate.

July 6 we started with tai chi and flowers then got guitar and singing with Brian. We had an epic all American baseball game in the afternoon complete with ballpark hotdogs and a score that said never quit. The Dodgers were up 10-2 over the Diamond Backs. But the Dbacks (with 2 outs no less) made a ten run sprint and won 12-2. It was truly epic.

Saturday July 4 Jazzy came in to help make lunch special and watch 1776 the musical with them. Happy 4th of July everyone! (Don’t we have the best volunteers ever?— even coming in on a holiday. )

7/3 Friday we kicked things off with a parade!!! And of course exercise. We got an incredible piano performance of patriotic and Americana music from world famous Kent and decorated flag cakes.
