When minutes matter, it is comforting to know that we are surrounded by a community that cares -- a community of EMS and first responders, and a Level IV Trauma Emergency Department. And when needs arise, isn't it awesome to know that we live in a community where generosity still exists? Thank you, Microsoft, for your generous donation to Quincy Valley Hospital Foundation. These funds will be used to purchase critical life-saving equipment to support the work of Columbia EMS and will also benefit the Foundation's ability to support equipment needs at QVMC. Generosity. Columbia EMS would like to extend its sincere gratitude to Microsoft, Quincy Valley Hospital Foundation and Quincy Valley Medical Center for their generous donation, which will help us fund new equipment: Glidescopes.

GlideScope is an industry-leading video laryngoscope that will help us deliver even better patient care when performing one of the most critical and invasive procedures in emergency medicine—intubation. This advanced technology will improve visualization and increase our ability to provide safe, effective airway management for our patients.

We are grateful to serve in a community where organizations and businesses come together to support one another and are willing to invest in the health and well-being of our community.

A special and heartfelt thank-you goes to Lisa McCullough Karstetter for organizing the B Street event and helping secure so many donations in support of the outstanding organizations that serve Quincy. Your dedication and generosity make a lasting differencel in our community.
