We are a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed under the Federal Tort Claim It was founded in 1979.

Manet Community Health Center is a not-for-profit health care provider with a mission to ensure quality, comprehensive health care for all. Today, it serves the broad health needs of South Shore residents. Manet has been accredited by The Joint Commission since 1999, demonstrating it meets the highest standards of quality, and Manet’s Diabetes Program has been accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators since 2011. According to the American Cancer Society, the 5-year survival rate for breast cancer diagnosed at an early stage is over 99%. Mammograms (usually starting at age 40) are key to early detection. Manet patients can make an appointment at the Radiology Center at Manet North Quincy. Call 617-376-3000.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is this Saturday!

NATIONAL PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE BACK DAY – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2026!

The City of Taunton is encouraging residents to take advantage of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, an opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted or unneeded medications.

Properly disposing of unused medications helps prevent accidental ingestion, misuse, and potential harm to others. It's also an important step toward keeping our homes and community safe.

Take a few minutes to check your medicine cabinets and gather any medications you no longer need.

Keep them safe. Clean them out. Take them back.

You don’t have to go it alone! Manet Care Managers can help patients who have diabetes, two or more chronic conditions, or were recently hospitalized because of their chronic condition, better manage and control their health. Our RN Care Managers can answer your questions, help coordinate your care and work with you to create a care plan that works for you.
