It’s a “Bowtie Affair” Fathers Day Gentlemen’s Club Social to honor the fathers here at Hilltop Springs! A Professional bartender served up a full list of specialty cocktails, chocolate ci**rs and bar snacks and a full line up of commentary with poems, jokes & stories of Father’s Day memories!

The temperatures have been rising on the outside, but we decided to cool down with some homemade vanilla ice cream. Jackie and Shirley measured ingredients. Sandra read the directions. Margaret and Doreen mixed them. Tom and Steve packed the ice and rock salt. Everyone enjoyed the delicious results!

Kristi, of Bristol Hospice Redding, took Lisa shopping for some beautiful ceramic pots and hibiscus plants for our memory care courtyard. Margaret and Judy helped with planting. Judy also refilled the bird feeder. Now we all get to nurture the garden and enjoy the beauty for months to come.

Hilltop Springs was pleased to host another Your Wellness Matters – Ask the Doctor event on May 21 featuring Dr. Nepomuceno.

Residents and community members enjoyed an informative discussion on health and wellness, asked questions, and gained valuable insights to support their well-being. Following the presentation, guests gathered for a healthy lunch and fellowship.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a success. We love bringing educational opportunities and meaningful connections to our community.

We brought attention to National Senior Health and Wellness Day with a great turn out all week to our various morning exercise activities. Peggy shared with us that when she first moved in she wasn’t able to lift her hands over her head but after being involved in daily exercise she now has this to say, “Look at me now!”

There is probably nothing that brings more enthusiasm, comradery, laughter, and joy to our memory care residents than our weekly game of bowling. Every Tuesday afternoon we manage to fill all 12 available spots to create 2 bowling teams. People who haven't bowled in years join with those who bowl every week. Then the fun begins. We are so fortunate to have our own bowling alley here at Hilltop Springs. Living Fun
