Our tropical-themed days keep rolling with National Beach Day and National Coconut Day! 🏖️🥥🌴 We celebrated with homemade coconut balls, a little friendly competition during our own version of beach volleyball, and a sweet treat we called “Shark Bait Beach Pudding”

🌺☀️ Aloha from our End of Summer Luau!

We had a wonderful time celebrating the end of summer with delicious tuna poke, refreshing Mai Tais, and plenty of island-inspired fun!

Residents also enjoyed looking back through photos of all the special memories we made this summer and creating sweet keepsakes during our Message in a Bottle activity. 💌🏝️

From good food to great memories, it was the perfect way to say goodbye to an unforgettable summer! 🌺✨

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating two very special parts of our Overlake Terrace family—our community dog, Mango, and our wonderful friends from Reading with Rover Therapy Dogs! 🐶❤️

Every month, we look forward to our Reading with Rover visits. The wagging tails, gentle cuddles, and unconditional love from these incredible therapy dogs bring so much joy to our residents.

We are so grateful for Reading with Rover and the beautiful connection they bring to our community. They are more than a community partner; they are friends we love dearly. 🐾💕

We will always have such fond memories of celebrating the incredible Dolly Parton at our Dolly Day back in January in honor of her birthday. 🦋

Our residents enjoyed music, laughter, and celebrating a woman whose kindness, talent, and joyful spirit touched so many lives.

What a fun morning of games, laughter, and intergenerational connection! 🎉

Jill and Louise had a wonderful time representing Overlake Terrace at Field Day with Camp Kindness Counts, a local nonprofit dedicated to bringing kids and seniors together through meaningful experiences.

From friendly competition to plenty of smiles and shared laughter, it was a beautiful reminder that connection has no age limit!

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this that bring generations together and create memories we can all enjoy.

🌎🇧🇷 Adventure Club takes a little trip to Brazil!

Our latest Adventure Club outing brought our residents to Kitanda in Redmond, where they got to experience something new and enjoy a little taste of Brazilian culture right here in our own backyard!

Residents discovered Kitanda Bread (pão de queijo) and a delicious Brazilian treat, like caramel flan, there was plenty to taste and discover.

We love giving our residents opportunities to try something different, explore our local community, and make new memories along the way. Because Adventure Club is all about discovering what’s around the corner!

Kinda chic to live here. ✨

Just a little glimpse of what life looks like around here!

To dance like nobody’s watching, make new friends, cuddle with furry friends, explore our favorite local spots, sing along with live entertainment, hang out with our favorite firefighters, and simply have a whole lot of fun.

🇬🇷 Next Stamp: Greece! 🇬🇷

Our cultural passport took us all the way to Greece where sun-drenched islands, sparkling blue seas, and ancient ruins made us feel like we were traveling without ever leaving home! ✈️🌊☀️

We explored some of Greece’s most famous landmarks, practiced a few common Greek phrases (and shared plenty of laughs trying to pronounce them!), learned about the fascinating tradition of the evil eye, and finished our journey with a lively game of Opa Bingo! 🎲🇬🇷
