Splash Dance at The Lodge at Truitt Homestead: fun, movement, friendship and lots of laughs as Residents and Club members get an exceptional workout in our salt water pool!

At The Lodge at Truitt Homestead we started with Aqua Aerobics, added Senior Splash, embraced pool volleyball and now introducing our newest pool activity:SPLASH DANCE !
Our indoor/outdoor heated salt water pool continues to inspire everyone in our community to have fun and get fit!

The Lodge at Truitt Homestead celebrated the 4th of July with activities galore!
14 brave souls ventured out in the stifling heat to take part in the 250th Lewes Boat Parade for two hours of singing, cheering and fun!
Meanwhile, back at The Lodge, Residents and Clubmembers enjoyed a BBQ lunch, dueling keyboards with Mark and Matthew and games reminiscent of boardwalk fun from years past!
As evening fell, the Theatre was the spot to enjoy champagne, popcorn and the Macy’s fireworks!!!
What a day!!

As our region celebrates America's 250th anniversary, we're reminded that history isn't only found in museums or historic landmarks—it's found in the stories of the people who lived it. Many of our residents have witnessed extraordinary moments in our nation's history, from periods of challenge and change to celebrations of progress, innovation, and community. Their experiences help connect generations and remind us that every story contributes to the larger American story.

This Independence Day, we're celebrating the people, traditions, and connections that continue to shape our community and our country. Happy Fourth of July from all of us. 🇺🇸
