STEP2 is a Reno-based nonprofit treatment center for women battling substance use disorder.

Over the past 40 years, we have provided a safe, supportive space and effective treatment program to help women in our community get and stay clean and sober.

Today is a special day for STEP2 and our community 💗

September 1 has officially been proclaimed RECOVERY DAY by the City of Reno, kicking off National Recovery Month and recognizing the hope, courage, and resilience of those on their path.

As STEP2 celebrates 40 years of empowering women to build and maintain clean and sober lives, we are especially honored to see recovery recognized throughout our community.

Recovery is possible. Families can heal. Generations can change.

Today and every day, but especially TODAY, we celebrate every person who has chosen recovery for themselves and their families. We stand with you always.

August has been a busy month of connecting with thoughtful community members who are interested to learn more about what we do. 🌞

We welcomed Reno City Councilmember Brandi Anderson for a tour, caught up with our friends at Paris Lash Academy, and received a pad donation from Shanda with GOLDEN TAMPON- Tampon Drive. Giving campus tours, deepening partnerships, and spreading the word about the hope and healing that STEP2 offers to women on their path to recovery always feels good.

Major cuteness alert! 🧸💗

A longtime friend and supporter recently crocheted these precious loveys for the newest babies at STEP2, and we couldn't love them more.

Handmade with so much care, these special gifts will bring comfort to our little ones and serve as a sweet reminder that they are welcomed into a community that cares while mom works on her recovery.
