One of the most important things we tell patients is that the best mommy makeover recoveries happen when you respect the healing process, follow your restrictions closely, and do not try to rush back to normal life too soon.

A mommy makeover is a customized combination of procedures that often includes a tummy tuck, liposuction, a breast lift, breast augmentation, or some combination of those procedures depending on your anatomy and goals. Because of that, recovery is never identical from one patient to the next. Still, there are clear patterns patients should understand before surgery. In our view, the best recoveries come from patients who respect healing, follow restrictions closely, and do not try to rush back to normal life too soon.
