The right supervisor changes everything.

Finding clinical supervision shouldn’t be the hardest part of building a behavioral health career. Supervisor on Demand is a free platform that connects Nevada’s interns and clinical supervisors directly.

Interns can browse supervisors by credential type, specialty, location, and availability, then reach out to find the right fit for their board’s requirements.

Supervisors can post an opening with their credentials, supervision style, and fees, and let interns find them. Listings go live within days.

One platform. Two ways to connect.

Medications can play an important role in treating alcohol use disorder, but knowing which options are available and how to discuss them with clients is key to supporting informed treatment decisions.

Our self-paced online training, Medications for Addiction Treatment: Approaches for Treating People with Alcohol Use Disorder (MAUD), explores FDA-approved medications, including acamprosate, disulfiram, and naltrexone, along with their uses, how they work, and the settings in which they may be used.

Participants will also learn strategies for talking with clients who are ambivalent about medication and approaches to improving access to treatment and engagement in care.

Register today to access the training at your own pace: https://www.casatlearning.org/component/eventbooking/self-paced/maud26/771?Itemid=762

There's still time to participate in the This Is Public Health creative contest! The registration deadline has been extended to Friday, Oct. 23.

We invite undergraduate and graduate students to get creative and answer an important question: What is public health, and why does it matter?

Whether it's a short video, original artwork, infographic, interactive display, spoken word piece or another creative project, we want to see your (non-powerpoint) perspective on public health and its impact on our communities.

Submissions should speak for itself or be something that can be explain in 90 seconds or less. Think Shark Tank, but faster!

Have questions? Contact Megan Comlossy at [email protected].
