PFAS, often called "forever chemicals," can make their way into groundwater and can't be detected by taste or smell. Testing is the only way to know if they're present in your water.
NNPH Well Testing Program is sampling eligible private residential wells in Washoe County for the presence of PFAS. Our team collects the samples, sends them to a lab for analysis, and shares the results with homeowners.
