Conjure Prosperity LIVE with Me!

The Burdock plant and its roots (https://www.biglizconjure.com/product/Burdock-Root/84) have long been used in Hoodoo and other herb magic for protection, prosperity, financial stability and abundance. You can imagine my joy when one just popped up in my yard last summer and grew to be huge with a big flower on top!

Many of you also remember when my landscaper, who worked with me for five years being careful with my many plants, chopped it completely down because he thought it was a "w**d."

He’s no longer my landscaper.

I cried and thought all was lost! I’d planned a huge New Moon prosperity ritual. It was going to be my first live ritual offering I planned for the Big Liz Conjure community. Through Arias’ (https://www.facebook.com/AriasEthaniel) assistance, I fed the stump with white willow bark, honey, and cinnamon to encourage the plant to regrow.

And REGROW it did! By the end of the summer, she was back with MULTIPLE FLOWERS! I harvested the seeds for future plantings in the spring, after deadheading it, and she has almost doubled in size! I took the resurrection of this plant as a sign, that I need to make that ritual happen as soon as it was ready!

So, I am pleased to announce that I will be taking 25 petitions for this August 12 ritual. I've set the price point low because I know folks are struggling. Everyone is going through it financially, and I want to give you an affordable way to conjure the protection and prosperity that is needed to get through these difficult times.

Your petition (Please use the customer notes in your order to write your petition.) will be wrapped inside a leaf from the base of this plant. It will be blessed with Broke No Mo’! oil and roots, and then it will be burned in a ritual fire live via Google Meet.

You will get a link to the live ritual on your receipt so that you may participate from your own home. If you are attending live, I suggest at least lighting a gold or green candle, having a glass of water, and burning the appropritate incense while attending the live ritual. (You can buy my handmade incense here if you don't have any on hand.)

Only 25 petitions will be accepted, so please be sure to sign up as soon as possible to participate in this ritual. This ritual will be held during the daytime Venus hour because that is the planetary alignment of this plant. A link to the recorded ritual will be sent to all who purchased a petition or later viewing.

Learn the Practices of Your Ancestors!

Last month, I cancelled teaching this series due to low registration. Looks like I may have to cancel it again. It seems that is things get tougher and tougher for our people, that they are scared to invest in their spiritual evolution.

It baffles me because so many of us are out here practicing, and it is CLEAR by their social media posts and comments that they have no clue about Hoodoo, its traditions, initations, and rituals that made a way out of no way, liberated our people. and is so very NEEDED in the present. The problem is, many people come to our advanced magical classes with no idea of the basics. And that is a problem I am still scratching my head to solve.

Many elders have gotten quiet in social media spaces because we understand the value of our time, and we refuse to argue with fools. People also want your energy for free, and many are unwilling to part with funds to pay for their spiritual education.

Because of this, we are rethinking the ways we offer education at Big Liz Conjure. I may move to teaching this course a couple of times a year and persue other topics within the things I practice. I may offer recordings to students who I can verifiy meet the criteria for this CLOSED practice.

It is always my recommendation that you take the series in order and all at the same time. Anyone who purchases the series can sit in again as a refresher up to one year after purchase. I am wondering if any other teacher offers such things for their students?

If you want to learn about Hoodoo, and not guess as to what is legitimate or not, you should take this class series before I stop offering it on a regular basis.

We BEEN Makin' a Way Outta No Way in da Hood!

For those that don’t know, the term “sporting life” is a phrase from back in the day that meant you were on the “other side” of the law. This was a world of savvy bootleggers, policy pimps, magnetic madames, gamblers, lotharios and “ladies of the evening.”

Our communities are worlds filled with their own belief systems, justice, politics and magick. Whether it was worked in the speakeasies, brothels, dope dens (now called trap houses), ritzy clubs or in the streets, it was done to make a way out of no way.

Our blocks form the basis of how we move in the “hood.” These disparities still exist in our marginalized communities, and the need to know this magic in order to help yourself, and provide mutual aid in our communities, makes this magick still VERY relevant in our practices.
