Tonight. Blue Moon. Sagittarius.

Once in a blue moon used to mean never.

Left- The Beloved

The Beloved is the recognition of Spirit in another. The divine shows up wearing the face of your child, your partner, your friend, and you fall into love. As we grow, we see the Beloved in everyone, no longer confusing personality with divine nature. When you recognize the Beloved in someone, you call forth their highest and purest self just by seeing them clearly.

The Medicine: Be careful with the love you fall in and out of. Own the projections you have placed on the one you are dreaming of. They mirror your own longing back to you, not their truth. See clearly, or walk through the fire of strong emotion again.

Center- The Sacrifice

To sacrifice means to make sacred. An offering of gratitude prepared from the heart. Quetzalcoatl, Lord of the Dawn, taught that Spirit prefers our songs and our prayers far more than blood. Offer what is most precious to you. Your offering will be sanctified and returned tenfold. Your heart is the only worthy offering you can bring.

The Medicine: What is the one thing you feel you cannot live without? Offer it to Spirit so it can unfold as it will. Do not cling to the old form. You have set down your own dreams for too long. Rededicate yourself to your journey. When you make sacred, you open the doors to infinite wealth. Do not delay.

Right- The Hummingbird

Despite being so small, hummingbirds are great journeyers. Fiercely territorial, gentle teachers of stillness in motion. Hummingbird invites you to bypass the old pain, head for the flowers, and trust the calling you hear softly. The buzzing under your skin is your own wings preparing you to say yes. Trust the rightness of the moment. The All is in the small.

The Medicine: Trust that the sweetest nectar is assured. Failing to act when the moment is right can spoil the journey. If safety outweighs the invitation to explore the unknown, you will work much harder later for what is offered freely now. Still your mind and heed the gentle voice calling you to test new wings.
